Prior to his breakout season, Russell was probably best known for allegedly recording Lakers teammate Nick Young in 2016 as he talked about women who weren’t his then-fiancée Iggy Azalea.

The recording made its way online, and the Lakers were reportedly displeased with Russell, who reportedly became an outcast in the locker room for the alleged breach of trust. Los Angeles eventually traded Russell prior to the 2017 draft that saw them select Ball.

Perhaps there is massive pressure to play in New York City. The Garden should be the place to be in that town that never sleeps. Anyway, the NBA still sucks because players can combine and form super teams. And the city that gets them is lucky if you are a fan. Yet the NBA worries more about the tanking like the Sixers did for a few years to hopefully get a few players that can ball. They should just play a 4 or 6 team playoff in a best out of 35 for each series. For we know who they will be for the most part. However this year may be a change year.

Durant will not be satisfied no matter where he goes. He's a talented but thin skinned attention starved affection whore.
Kyrie Irving is more of the same on a somewhat lower level. The honeymoon in Brooklyn will be short when Durant finally gets back.

If he thinks Brooklynites will love him unconditionally he's got mental issues (which he does).
