In the NBA getting a lot in return for one many times does not work out. Of course with one year left and not returning to NOLA the Pelicans had to do something. Zion will probably leave in 4/5 years also. This is what makes the NBA suck. 30 teams for what? Decade after decade of not making the playoffs for many of them and when they do first round fodder for the better ones. Free agency loading a team is the main reason there are champions now. The 76ers were derailed of the process tanking by Commissioner Silver and Colangelo and were closer then we know to succeeding. The NBA has better potential but it sucks to play every year for maybe 4 teams to have a chance to win.
