Breaking: Mexico deploys massive troop force to stop migrants from crossing the US border
Breaking: Mexico deploys massive troop force to stop migrants from crossing the US border

Mexico has sent a massive deployment of troops to the U.S.-Mexico border in order to crack down on the crisis of migrants attempting to enter into the United States.

Mexico's Secretary of Defense Luis Sandoval said that nearly 15,000 troops had been sent to the U.S.-Mexico border, and approximately another 2,000 National Guard troops to the Mexico-Guatemala border.

"In the northern part of the country, we have deployed a total of almost 15,000 troops composed of National Guard elements and military units," Sandoval said.

This deployment comes after President Donald Trump threatened to raise tariffs on Mexico, among the greatest trade partners of the United States, unless the country acted to lessen the crisis on the border

So, Trump is a winner again, his tariffs threat worked. Never underestimate The Donald.

So Trump was right. Mexico is paying for the wall.

No need for a wall anymore.

using tariffs and sanctions to the max, and threats of. No diplomacy. Just makes threats.
Same as he did with his businesses, and naysayers, used threats of lawsuits.

15,000 is not massive, considering the size of the border, but it might constitute a Good Faith Effort.

If it has an significant impact, that would be very good, and Mexico would have taken the first baby steps in repairing relations between us.

And yes, this is a win for Trump.

Still BUILD THE FUCKING WALL.

Poor pen pen still upset. If anything we need a wall only because one day in the far distant future there may actually be a democrat majority in the senate, house and maybe in the White House. We all understand that that would mean no ICE, no Border Patrol and a welcome wagon on the border with staffers handing out money, free medical vouchers and voting IDs.

Nope still need a wall, because if and I hope never a liberal again gets the presidency he wont allow illegals to cross under his watch like Obama did.

Trump is a beginner compared to the United States government which at any given time throughout all of its jurisdictions has more than 10,000 plus active lawsuits on file. The Obama justice department was particularly litigious.

Considering they only had 1600 before Trump’s threat...

Probably all show, or they're going to 'arrest' the fit ones and force them to work in the maquilas for free. Mexico isn't a real state, it's a narco state with no real law and order, and besides, these illegals from other countries compete with their Mexican illegals and all the transfer payments back to Mexico go down and the drug gangs get more competitive. They're mostly going to do what they do on their southern border, which is rob, rape, and kill those they can't get anything out of, and let Mexicans through.

I suspect the Mexicans will do it now as long as Trump is President. As soon as he is out of office and either a weak Democrat or RINO gets elected they will go back to the same old shit.
