if this is a current event, then you should link up to what the heck you are talking about....?

But I am aware that in 2005 THESE GUYS were exposed to viewing porn instead of doing their jobs, yet unaware that after this was exposed, that this continued to take place???

this is a 2008 article on some of the Shenanigans....just in case you were trying to blame Obama Admin, this was the Bush Administration's players....no?

Its fun to watch Obamacrats scramble to evade responsibily for anything that happens on their watch.

When will DOI heads begin to roll?

you know, if you made any sense at all and didn't just continually babble partisan crapola, I would agree with you once in a while....

AAAWWWW I'm sorry...were you getting ready to cry? Calm down...relax...I'm not like you left leaners...I actualy post facts when Obama screws up.

From your article:

Interior Secretary Ken Salazar ordered a broader investigation today into ethics violations at the agency that oversees offshore oil drilling after a report found lapses by staff in the Lake Charles, Louisiana, office between 2000 and 2008.

link up...that should not be a problem then...?

What are you talking about....? When did it happen? Who was part of it? Was anything done to them to punish them?

If you always tell the truth, I believe you...BUT SHOW US SOMETHING that we can actually discuss, for the sake of debate, for goodness sakes!

I provided you with a very lengthy article from 2008 describing what actually happened....not because I thought you did not believe me, but because it gave some meat, to argue about or DEBATE....since this is a debate forum...

Now it is your turn! :)

I wonder if it was only a coincidence that Ken didn't order any investigations into ethics violations at DOI BEFORE the agency's incompetence allowed "the worst man-made disaster in US history?"

Don't know...but I'd like to know if there had been any changes in USMMS' structure, any prosecutions etc since all those activities came to light in the media - before the oil rig disaster?

Ken Salazar probably wasn't even aware that there was a Gulf Coast, much less that there was drilling going on in the Gulf, before the April 20th explosion on the Deepwater Horizon.

I think what we are seeing is the result of a decade or more of pro-energy policy with minimal oversight and downright corruption. While it's convenient to blame Obama, it would be like blaming Bush for the economic collapse - the result of years of economic policy, not the actions of any one administration.

I saw that....I would hope a broader investigation woud mean that he's increasing the scope to include the records for this oi rig as well...it's quite easy to check ip stuff on government computers....they record EVERY SINGLE THING...even scan and memorize thumbdrive contents/dvd's etc. I know, I work for them and use government computers on a reguar basis.

We do not know one way or the other if the Obama administration's Mineral management people watched porn or not.....at least not yet...

this was in the article that PP posted...

Salazar said he’s ordered an investigation into whether ethics violations persisted after he put in place new rules last year.

What we do know AS FACT is that this porn viewing, sex doing, drug luring scandal with the MM employees DID take place during the Bush Administration....

we do not know if it continued under the Obama administration, at least not yet....be certain we will find out, IF IT DID occur.

It's not Obama's fault those inspectors were abusing their positions....it's not due to minimal oversight either....it's HUMAN ERROR...COMPLACENCY...STUPIDITY! Me as a supervisor have to correct this behavior in my subordinates on occasion.
