FAA grounds Boeing 787s to address battery fires - Live5News.com | Charleston, SC | News, Weather, Sports

The FAA just grounded all Boeing 787's due to all the problems that plane has been having lately!! Grounded them ALL!!!

This is a year or two after Boeing moved it's Dreamliner plant to South Carolina to take advantage of non-union labor (aka, cheap wages, lower benefits). Now...are they getting shitty labor in SC? Or, did that act crush morale in Seattle, and cause them to do shitty work???

Either way....bad day for Boeing!

All 6 of them in service with US flagged airlines?

This is very interesting, and Im interested in hearing how this plays out. Was it cheap, non-union labor in SC that caused this PR nightmare? Or...was it union retaliation, or, just plain low morale and sloppy work in Seattle that caused it?

With all the gun coverage, this story hasn't got much time, but here in SC it has due to the plant being here.

This is interesting, mostly because of the timing just 2 years after moving a huge plant to a non-union state.

Maybe we have a few union types that got hired so they could do a little sabotage ....

Probably it was pushing production faster. They are overwhelmed with orders for this lemon lol.

Or maaaaybe it's the use of many new, lab tested, technologies incorporated in the aircraft that are now "responding" to real world usage. Typical unforeseen design bugs that suddenly appear, as happens with almost all new technology. At least now airlines and regulatory agencies are much more aware of and looking for these types of issues.

And Chrysler is moving jeep plant to china after swearing befoe god and country they were not.. fuck the unions and the asses they rode in on.

Oh for fuck's sake...

These airplanes pretty much have completely new systems, I'd be surprised if there weren't problems and I'm surprised there haven't been more.

Non union labor indeed. Moronic.

So the batteries were made in Japan? Oh, ok, great. I was interested in seeing how this played out.

So it wasnt the non-union or union labor to blame.

It was the folks at the executive labor who decided to buy cheap Asian shit rather than use American made parts? Fucking cheap ass millionaires trying to squeeze an extra penny hahaha!
