Breaking CNN: Hillary Brokers Cease Fire

Of course this will cost the US Millions in foreign aid to Egypt...

Hillary Clinton and the Obama Administration does it again.

Thanks to the good, hard work of Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, the recent fighting in the Gaza Strip....is OVER!!!

Cease fire doesn

Kudos....what a way to end your career Hillary.

Quick question. Since we are giving The One and little H credit for this, does that mean it is also their fault Hamas broke the cease fire already?

Tough neighborhood and Morsi all but guaranteed US money to keep coming in. If the end result is a long term peace then it is worth every penny.

CAIRO (AP) — A Palestinian official says a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas will be announced within hours in Cairo.

The truce agreement would end the weeklong fighting between the two sides.

In details of the agreement obtained exclusively by The Associated Press, the official said Israel would cease all military activity against the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip and Palestinian militants would cease rocket attacks into Israel. After 24 hours of quiet, Gaza's border crossings with Israel would be opened further to allow freer movement of goods and people.

Let's keep our fingers crossed.

PT let me help you out on your thread. This addresses Hillary Clinton's role on behalf of the US...

"Secretary Clinton’s role in securing the cease-fire demonstrates how the United States, despite its weakened influence in a region of empowered Islamists less inclined to America’s call, remains the dominant diplomatic force in the Middle East.

When President Obama dispatched Clinton to the region Tuesday to try to negotiate an end to the violence, it was a sign of a shift by the White House to a more overt – and traditionally American – role in the region. It was also seen by some regional experts as belated recognition by Mr. Obama that, despite his apparent preference for a less overt role for American diplomacy in the region, the Middle East risks slipping deeper into conflict and instability without forceful US engagement."

LOL...one report said the agreement was reached but they waited to announce it until Hillary arrived!
Really? I'd like to see that "report." Please post it. Thanks.

Five hundred Benghazi threads in Politics....
Yuh seeit!!!

Cease fires in the middle east have proven to be pointless for generations now. This will be no different. Question is how long will it last..a week, a month, longer?
hehehe...gotta bash every accomplishment right?

Very disappointing. Clearly, Netanyahu is not the leader Israel needs at this time, still he remains the best of what's available.
Indeed sir, Netanyahu is a joke. Hence the word "Yahoo" in his name.

Would this be the work of the Egyptian President who receives a few billion dollars in U.S. aide? You might ask yourself if long term peace is his goal or to continue the cash flow to Egypt.
