The way things are developing in this second season it's hard to even guess at what's coming. But if Walt's ego trip is such that he can't see how important it is for him to pacify Skyler's self-destructively desperate mood he is looking at serious trouble. We have seen how resourceful Skyler is and that she is an activist, so it simply isn't smart to push that woman into a corner.

But it's early in the season and the writers surely must have a big surprise in mind. We can't ignore the fact that Walt's original motivation was totally unselfish and that Skyler not only took a lover but gave her lover $600k of Walt's money, giving the rest to her sister's husband. So Walt is not without substantial recrimination.

What I'm anxious to see is Walt's revenge for the beating Mike gave him in the bar. One thing we know for certain, Walt thinks fast in the clinches and he usually quietly but efficiently out-thinks those around him.

I tried watching one episode last year and got such a gut ache and felt so depressed I never went back to it LOL.
