So the reports are that the Democrats did not break ranks, leaving the GOP to break ranks on the Boehner, Low-Cut, Night-Cap, and What-Me-Balance(?), bill to raise the national debt llimit.

Little kids now can see that even the adults try to get what they can, in any way at all! It is baseball season in America.

Many recall when liquor was quicker. . .Unless they don't.

The Tea Party gave up loyalty to the GOP at last. Soon, the rest can follow!

So the Bipartisan vote was AGAINST the boneheaded Boner bill.

It is not clear in any of the reports if the Republicans used the "nappy-headed" concept to describe their masterpiece, of the Party of Abraham Lincoln! It is clear the Senator Reid seemed to know what to do with the poor young thing, right away!

For awhile they may have said that it finally be set free, at last!

The fact that it was bad legislation is beside the point. No specific balanced budget amendment was actually described, leaving all sides room to back away from anything further with any further debt reduction, balanced budget amendment, or debt limit increase in six months.

Likely a judge or arbitrator would call "bad faith" on the part of that party, in any negotiations.

It was clearly not a good faith attempt at reducing the deficit, capping further deficits, or even a creating a framework for balancing the federal budget at anytime at all.

Essentially, the Tea Party wants to give its permission to anywant wanting to be neighborly in Texas, wantint to assist the drought-stricken framers: Which all GOP are now shown to hate with a vegeance.

I agree it was a weak bill. Stronger then the other side has put up though.

The Boehner Bill created "a balanced budget" amendment, that had to be passed, and sent to the states. No requirement of a particualr balanced budget was included, however. Nothing in the Boehner Bill required a particular Amendment.

A Democrat could vote for a Balanced Budget Amendment allowing One Balanced Budget To actually pass every 100 years. A Republican could vote for an Amendment allowing everyone in Texas to pay every Republican Legislator $1.0 tril., to a Tea Party GOP, for every federal dollar, ever spent for all eternity, in Texas. Texans, famously, all have a lot of money.

Boehner created a breach of faith with America to get his name on TV news.

It was useful in exposing the Tea Party agenda of creating a Constitutional Amendment through Congress, focing in the Constitution payments to Tea Party members from the federal treasury, forever in America.

Speaker Boehner showed that he could support that. He got their bill passed. Tjere is nothing specifically, in language, listed in the bill to vote for, later on!
