I can relate more to that point of view, I am a man and I like to look at naked women, I don't see whats wrong with that. The funny thing is the Europeans and Brazilians think we are prudes, but the Arabs think we are hedonistic freaks.

It's not like there isn't sex and nudity on tv, movies, magazines in the U.S. It's not like we don't have sex clubs and strip clubs and swinger's clubs, etc... here either. So, we're prudes because we don't have nude beaches, and by the way, we have a few of those too. Do you expect everyone to just walk around naked all the time? I'd guess for about 90% of the population that wouldn't be such a great idea anyway.

It's not like there isn't sex and nudity on tv, movies, magazines in the U.S. It's not like we don't have sex clubs and strip clubs and swinger's clubs, etc... here either. So, we're prudes because we don't have nude beaches, and by the way, we have a few of those too. Do you expect everyone to just walk around naked all the time? I'd guess for about 90% of the population that wouldn't be such a great idea anyway.

Sex clubs and swingers clubs are real low key and are on a need to know basis, unless you live in a liberal city like Las Vegas or San Franciso, try looking for a swingers club out in Utah or North Carolina. Also strip clubs are not everywhere, I have been to places in California and Alabama where there are no strip clubs for hours and nude beaches are in rapid decline, although like you said with the obesity rates the way they are its probably no surprise they are dying out.

Few "R" rated movies have nudity, even the "thong" has been banned from many beaches (even Miami Beach), nudity on basic cable is nonexistent, nudity on network TV is taboo, I'm sure you've noticed that Google has filtered out nude web sites even with the adult filter off.

The irony is the orgy of violence that we receive in the place of nudity. Killing, shooting, beating, hurting is all part of our media standard. When a hidden nude (semi sex) scene was discovered on the Grand Theft Auto game it was pulled from the shelves of Walmarts. The funny thing is, Grand Theft Auto (and Halo) is the most graphically violent game you can buy.

Nudity is perversion and has no place in the public arena.

Yeah, porn isn't easily available in just about every media forum there is. Just because it's not put out on basic cable for any kid to tune into while Mom and Dad aren't home doesn't make us prudes. And the games you mentioned are bought, just like porn is bought, so it's up to the parent or consumer as to whether they want to pay money for it, just like porn. If some parents choose to buy violent games for their children, that's their call. It has nothing to do with being 'prudes', it has to do with respect.

Go do a google search on images and you can find any nudity you want, unflitered. Give me a break.
