This is a Super Bowl LIII premonition-parable in honor of the upcoming classic 'American game,' which I decided to post in the General Discussion instead of the Writing section since it's just a simple 'diary-tale.'

The Super Bowl has become such a 'drama-show,' no?

"Super Bowl LIII had been hyped up and was about to start. The Goliath-like New England Patriots, led by future Hall of Famer QB Tom Brady, wanted to bounce back after their loss to the Philly Eagles in Super Bowl LII [2018] and repeat their triumph over QB Kurt Warner's L.A. Rams in Super Bowl XXVI [2001] by downing QB Jared Goff's L.A. Rams in this Super Bowl [2019]. Goff was the first #1 QB draft-pick [2016] to reach the Super Bowl in just two years(!), so Rams fans wanted the fairy-tale to have a snappy ending. They wanted someone to once again down the titan-like Tom Brady. Brady had become, by all known standards, the penultimate 'Lombardi QB' and the media painted Super Bowl LIII as a 'culture-sensation' (and potentially Brady's final appearance in the championship). The stage had been set for a terrific Patriots-Rams showdown and a test to see if the god-like Brady could demoralize the 2018-2019 L.A. Rams which many sports-writers called the prowling 'Yellow-Fever' (since the team functioned as a 'dancing scourge'!). Was this a time for Tom Brady to shine?"

"Meanwhile, in the Rams practice-camp/tent/area of the Super Bowl prep-area in host-city Atlanta (Georgia) saw QB Jared Goff training with his team and throwing passes and running through mock-plays to prep for Super Bowl Sunday. Goff wanted the Vince Lombardi trophy as much as Tom Brady did, and Rams fans wanted their 'Yellow-Fever' team to destroy the Brady's 'silver-machine' Patriots. Journalists were present, of course, as were celebrities and famous NFL players of days past. This would be the last Super Bowl of the decade, before the 2020s began(!). There would be a Saturday night pre-Bowl party in Atlanta, and it would be televised. Sports-writers suggested that if Goff's 'Yellow-Fever' Rams were to be subdued, it would only be because the Patriots' cool-headed Brady could muster some kind of 'orchestrated-march.' Perhaps this was a time for the 'Yellow-Fever' Rams to once again dance (as they did in the Warner, Ferragamo, and Everett eras of days past!)."

"The first quarter saw Brady and his Patriots march right down the field and utilize efficient mid-range passes and a few swift running plays to reach the Rams' 20-yard line before Brady threw an elegant pass to receiver Edelman who evaded two defenders. However, Goff's Rams responded with a big 40-yard pass from their own 10-yard line on their first possession before a swift 20-yard run to reach the Patriots' 30-yard line. Then Goff threw two 15-yard passes to receiver Brandin Cooks (a former Patriot!) to score. It was now 7-7. It remained 7-7 through to the 4th quarter(!), thanks to excellent defense by both teams, before Brady threw a 40-yard pass to tight-end Gronkowski (who had streaked down the field after deceiving coverage) to score a touchdown. It was now 14-7. Goff's 'Yellow-Fever' Rams now just had 2 minutes to score a touchdown and even it up or accept defeat. The Yellow-Fever Rams managed to reach the 20-yard line of the Patriots with just 40 seconds left before Goff's short pass to Robert Woods was intercepted by Patriots cornerback Jason McCourty. Brady had won the Super Bowl again (and for the 6th and most likely last time!). Patriots' coach Bill Belichick stated to reporters, 'This Super Bowl was a testament to the simple magic of our go-to-guy QB Tom Brady who managed to simply blanket the 'Yellow-Fever'."
