Bradley Manning Trial In Military Court

Sorry, you are mistaken, sir. And you would wipe your smile off your face if you understood the two articles I posted today. Fortunately for you, you have zero sympathy for the 25,000,000 women in Afghanistan and Iraq whom our troops freed from extremists' legal right to torture and murder them on sayso alone.

I thought liberals were for women's rights. My mistake.

deflect much? Who said anything about Afghanistan? I said Iraq did 100X more damage to U.S. Diplomacy than Assange could ever do by releasing a few transcripts sugar tits. Iraq was cheerled by Bill Kristol, who aty the time led the PNAC. Ever heard of the PNAC? Google it  Kristol is now a paid-shill on  Fox TV.

My gawd!!! You're at 8K rep as well. Lots of rw bukakke rep still goin on. :( Google that as well ;)
I don't have to google what I recollect from reading both Madeline Allbright's State Department Notes and Colin Powell's notes on Iraq. I read them from stem to stern. Ms. Allbright's notes alone were more than enough cause for the entire universe to target Iraq and whip some sense into them. Clinton scratched his scrotum instead of manning up to the job of President.

You're brainwashed by the old Clintonista spin room, the ones who covered Clinton's butt with ladies for 8 years, starting with Jennifer Flowers, whom they roasted publicly as a liar, then Clinton himself admitted that she was being truthful and he and his club-mauling staff lied as he entered his lame duck months.

The Short Attention Span Theater of Clinton's Inattention to Duties of the Office of President

Dot, you tend to overuse those blinders. It wasn't the sex, it was the obstruction of justice that caused Bill Clinton's impeachment and disbarment. He got off light for destroying children's faith in leaders on his term, and his legacy is a huge leap in underage pregnancies, venereal diseases, and especially oral sex diseases.

His disease went viral, and he will answer to a higher power for the human misery he brought on the children of pilgrims, in my humble opinion.

Are you claiming vietraq is a success? Its too early to be making that call missy. You have got to be one of the BIGGEST, rw-tool, nation-building sheeple (on the grandkids dime mind you) on the board. Congrats :clap2:

Manning would like to be Bill Ayers, so he apologizes to military court and requests a college education. Associated Press story

The maximum he can get at this time is 90 years. He destroyed America, now he wants to learn something.

destroyed merka? How so civilian girl? What basis do you base that hyperbole on. You are a joke when it comes to this matter. Class -A , rw sheeple you are
For the Weatherman Ayers and his cop-killer wife Bernadette Doern hosting Obama's coming out party of "won't the conservatives of America be miffed when we foist a 'redistribution of wealth' administration on them and take out the Constitution with peace n love n peace n love n peace n love' administration that destroys their way of life to all his one percenter friends who got him off the hook for participating in the murder of Brian V. McDonnell at the Park Station of San Francisco on February 16, 1970.

The press is going along with everything in the last two liberal administrations as if exponential proliferation of venereal disease were nothing to sneeze at the first time and loss of the right to bear arms and freedom of religion under an absolute socialistic/redistribution of wealth/communism society weren't either and through obfuscation of liberal lies, right up to the second the yahoos admit the blue dress was indefensible, yeah, Jennifer Flowers was telling the truth (7 years too late to redeem her lost reputation), and payoffs to those who were used and bitten on the lip by Bill "put some ice on it" Clinton.

This is cloaked of course by leftists who wish to rout the Republic and domineer 325,000,000 Americans with a failed system that stifles individual accomplishments and leads to group starvation after murdering the millions of workers who made a successful society in years past with freedom from the tyrannical large governments run by people unsympathetic with the poor. Ten years into their domineering ouster of the founder's constitution there would be a bloodletting the world has never seen, not even in the 100,000,000 China killed in the 20th century, with Russia hot on their heels with ridding itself of those pesky capitalists.

Your grading system is flawed, Dottie dearest. If you think the few admissions of Bill Clinton are for his sea of unadmitted abuses and under-the-table betrayals such as handing over government computers with retrievable classified military information on it to the Chinese and Obama's playlike BP disaster that dirtied his Southern enemies' shores, humiliated Great Britain, pleased GweenPiece, and put 3 Communist countries drilling where he banned American oil companies from exploration and drilling. You're hiding from the facts on so many levels I wonder how you sleep at night. :cranky:

You're wrong, Dot Com. Just as Bill Clinton was for trying to damage women with political power for his long career in politics gone crazy.

He will answer for his crimes he still keeps neatly hidden away from true believers like you.

And assassinating the messenger's character is something you should eschew.

Prosecutors in Manning Court-martial Get Another Swing before Sentencing Before Judge Deliberates

The Prosecution is expected to call their own witnesses in surrebuttal to Defense witnesses claiming gender issues caused Manning's breakdown.

Manning could be shown to be sorry he was caught, not sorry he hurt America.

This trial has become a political maelstrom, but striking the Republic when you're paid to protect it is verboten, in my humble opinion. His sabotage was not in his job description except to prohibit it.

An update of today's quotes on the August 16, 2013 proceedings in the 12th day of the Bradley Manning trial:

3:00 PM EST The military judge announces her rationale behind the verdict in Bradley Manning’s trial: latest report now up here.
We’ll never know what conclusions the judge had reached on WikiLeaks because Manning was acquitted of “aiding the enemy.”
2:30 PM EST The Special Findings document is circulating. It is listed as AE #625 and dated August 15, 2013. It will be posted to our FDL Manning trial documents soon.
Other excerpts from the ‘Special Findings’ doc: The Judge, on the offense of ‘causing wantonly to be published intelligence’: “Pfc. Manning knew that al Qaeda was an enemy of United States.”
Judge: “PFC Manning specifically intended to knowingly convert records, and the information therein, by giving them to WikiLeaks.”
Judge: Pfc. Manning’s conduct was “of a heedless nature that made it actually and imminently dangerous to others.”

Sentencing Phase of Bradley Manning?s Trial, Day 12 (Live Updates) | The Dissenter

It will be interesting to see the final outcome on the Manning case as waiting in the wings is how the world--and it has become a world issue now--will handle the case of Edward Snowden. What I am reading across the board is that the perception of Manning's treatment is having considerable affect on their view of Snowden. Almost as interesting is the struggle of the LGBT community who are torn between protest of perceived mistreatment of Manning and their desire not to be associated with a convicted traitor.

I hope the Manning trial is judged independently of all else but the case that was presented. Unfortunately, the public will not know all there is to know about it due to the sensitive nature of the information that some say have harmed people and some say not.

It still needs to be judged completely independently of all else but what went on inside the proceedings. That we have other people blithely willing to damage Americans is sad, but hopefully, not a part of the Manning trial in which he sought after and procured over half a million documents and gave them over to a flattering-for-information group loosely known as Wikileaks.

If Wikileaks wanted peaceful solutions, it should have majored in military diplomatic procedures and not surreptitious street conniving to get a story.

Wikileaks is in the business of acquiring and publishing information that would not be otherwise available to the general public. I don't think diplomacy or even ethics is one of their concerns.

It is interesting that Wikia Inc. loosely affiliated with the Wikipedia Foundation has been busy creating and buying up domain names with "Wiki" in them to keep Wikileaks from acquiring those domain names. There is no connection between Wikileaks and Wikipedia or Wikia. These tangled webs of internet intrigue have many tentacles and are far reaching.

So can Wikileaks, who has no allegiance to the United States, be prosecuted for whatever somebody gives them to publish? I don't think so no matter how classified it is. But a U.S. citizen is liable under our treason and sedition laws. And at some point we simply have to impress on people that hurting the USA puts all they hold dear at risk.

There is something seriously wrong with a moron who claims that a guy with a rocket launcher in a war zone is "innocent".

Look, we get it: You hate America, and you love terrorists who kill American troops.

You wept when bin Laden was killed, didn't you?
You just keep making shit up, doncha?

BTW, it wasn't a rocket launcher, it was a camera bag. Why the fuck would a Reuter's newsman be carrying a rocket launcher?
My goodness, you'll believe anything terrorists tell you, won't you, you stupid gullible moron?

Here's some of the video WikiLeaks edited out. You won't watch it because it proves my claims are right and your mindless parroting of terrorist propaganda is wrong.

LiveLeak.com - WIKI DECEPTION: Iraq "Collateral Murder" Video Rebuttal: Scenes WikiLeaks Edited Out!!

This video contains footage NOT SEEN in wikileaks 17 minute version. IF YOU WANT CONTEXT WATCH THIS ONE.

The video released by Wiki Leaks is EXTREMELY misleading, and propagating it as “murder” is borderline criminal. Their 17 minute version edited out any mention of hostile gunfire on the part of insurgents for the purpose of defaming U.S. Defence Forces. WikiLeak head Julian Assange has since reluctantly admitted to AK-47 and RPGs being present. To their credit, they did release a full 39 minute version, but for “research” purposes only. Their edited version tells a very different story.

0:26 The “Black van” dropping off possible insurgents.

0:46 “We got a target fifteen coming at you, it’s a guy with a weapon.”

1:05 “One of them has a weapon.”

1:27 Guy carrying AK-47, and other with RPG (no way it a tripod) that had previously fired on U.S. Troops. WikiLeak video distracts you with letter box about a camera Bag).
You stupid gullible moron.

I'll talk to whomever I like, and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it, child.

You served in the '80's? Impossible. You're a dumbass 20-year-old kid.

At least, that's what you sound like all the time.

This is the 3rd time I've seen this video, fuckhead!

First off, are we supposed to take their word that the van just dropped off insurgents?

It's pretty easy to paste text onto a video after the fact.

Secondly, no, this is not clear! You cannot tell for sure, if that blurred image is an RPG.

And third, enemy combatants do not hang out in the open like this.

If they were enemy combatants, why aren't more of them armed?

First, I'm going to laugh in your face.

:lmao:

Second -- really? You really think that RPG-shaped thing is a camera bag?

Lay off the meth, kid. And stop sucking terrorist ass.

The sentence is in. He got 35 years at Leavenworth with a little time off for good behavior time served. Amnesty Inernational is appealing and the small group of supporters are protesting, but the sentence is only about a third of what the judge could have given him. Does the military parole folks early? Don't know whether he will have to serve it all or not.

The judge gives the sentence but the Command Authority has to approve it - which I'm certain will happen.

There is a parole system, again with the Command Authority. I doubt he'll get any break at all!

Considering his multiple crimes and Wikileaks editing the video to absolve the terrorists of their war crimes, PFC Manning got off easy.

It signals other enlistees considering espionage that if they betray their country, they have no worries of getting a death penalty.

My God. This nation recruits people from overseas with the promise that they can earn citizenship with service.

This is a horror waiting to happen to our nation.

This takes our military down the wrong road.
