My first notion is that it's due to the rush to enter before more of the wall (or fence) is completed.

That's one theory. And it might be partially true.
Could also be because people are going to 3rd world countries and telling people that America is theirs for the taking and helping to form these caravans of immigrants.

But I think most of all, it's people in other countries wanting to live the American dream and seeing the chaos we are domestically, with all the infighting among ourelves and "inspired" by the Democrats constant challenging the right of Americans to have a nation of their own.....it's finally become "the thing" all over the world to just pack up, pick up and come get a piece of that good old American Pie that promises a life of luxury for all.

Problem is, it's this very calamity that will end it for everyone.
But what do they care? Living in an American prison or on American streets is STILL 100 times better and safer (for a little bit longer) than where they came from.
