No... they're all about saving money when it comes to laying off WORKERS, screaming about taxes, and paying shitty wages while expecting more out of their remaining WORKFORCE.

But when it comes to Consumption, The more the merrier... it makes them money. The more gas you use in your car, the better it is for big oil. The more electricity you use, the better it is for the energy companies, the more you charge on a credit card, the better it is for the banks....etc.

So... saving energy is the last thing on their minds. I happen to feel pretty strongly that they are all in cahoots with each other. The auto industry scratches the Oil Industry's back and builds these gas hogs that look so cool and markets them to idiots who think they're going to get more pussy by buying them. Then they turn around and make most of the economy cars look like fucking eggs that no one really likes all that much.
