I am searching for a very dear old friend, whom I believe was given the name of Eddie/Eddy/Edward.
The last time I saw 'Bo' was when he had gotten his discharge from Minot AFB, Minot ND. In 1963/64. He was in the 862nd Communications Sq, and was on the Comm Sqs basketball team, the coach being Bernard 'Lee' Willis. Another friend was John Cherry, also on the team.
This 862nd squadron was deactivated around 1968 and Minot AFB, ND went from a SAC base to a Ground Operations Control (??).
I want to think that 'Bo' at one time, had said his home was a small town on the surburbs of a larger city in IL or Ohio, Maybe IN ... I only wish I could remember.
A couple of other things I do remember: His dad was in the plumbing business, and he only had one sister.
I realize this is very little to go on, but am hopeing someone from that era will see this and will have been there at that time. Or, someone that knows him from back then will read it.
He would be close to 69-70 yrs old now.
