Old news...and not even close to good news.
They did this after the FED told them to put $trillions of their toxic assets in FDIC covered accounts. So if BofA fails (possible) - the taxpayers will be on the hook for $trillions.

Not only not great news...catastrophic news as this shows that the FED places the interest of banks and Wall Street high - as in VERY high above the interest of the country and taxpayers.

The OWS are missing the entire issue by hanging around Wall Street - they should be hanging around Pennsylvania Avenue demanding investigations and a revoke/rebuild of the FED.

    Bingo!

They're about 225 miles NE of where they really need to be.

Why Bank of America Really Killed Its Card Fee
11/07/11 - When Bank of America announced last week it would nix its proposed $5 monthly debit card fee, the official explanation given was that the company was responding to the "concerns" of its customers, but that may be putting it too lightly. In reality, it may be due more to the bank's concerns that it wouldn't have nearly as many customers if the fee went into effect.
