The GOP is battling for survival right now. No matter what they do, the Obama team makes them look bad. It is a well calculated progression of scenarios. Heck, the senate doesnt pass a budget for 3 years, and somehow the GOP is at fault for not doing THEIR job. The Senate doesnt want to vote on a gun control bill for it will be the demise of many democratic senators if they do...and somehow, the GOP is at fault in the eyes of the electorate.

The President's claim that the House doesn't want to "pay its bills" (even though it didn't vote for them) may be refuted by publicizing the Senate's failure to pass any budget: What "bills" are due when they haven't been Constitutionally authorized? But maybe I should heed P.T. Barnum's advice...

You cannot be saying that the pubs did not vote to increase the debt, that they did not "authorize", by vote, to incur debt.

If that is what you are saying, PROVE it.

of course you havent heard any. When Ryan presentred his ideas backed by the house, the GOP was labelled as the party that wants to push granny over the cliff; want to see babies starve to death; dont care about the needy and the poor.

They offered their ideas and the President used his daily press conference with his press secreatary to paint the GOP as evil people. When you have a President who gets all the free air time he wants and uses it to blast any idea that is not directly iun line with his, there is little one can do.

Boehner is doing whatever he can to maintain an image for the GOP with the moderates...

It is tough to have a president who is completely dishonest about the intentions of the opposing party who has the majority in one of the houses.

Obama found the formula to make this a one party political system. His intentions may be good, but if this continues, he may unintentionally destroy all that made America great.
