Real Estate Collapse and increasing taxes can and does encourage arson. That makes sense.
But as to the ongoing floods in the northeast the arguments do not make sense, The theory that I run into most often is an implicit accusation that the idiots in Blue state capitals went ape paving everything in sight in order to cause catastrophic flooding. That makes no kind of sense that I can see. But CNBC trots our the MD town that had two "thousand year" floods in three years with stunning regularity. Similar stuff crops up on the Weather Channel. Are these accusations part of the intra-party Civil war going on among the Ds or what?
