OMG OMG OMG Our assault weapons!!!! How will we shoot bottles & pretend we are tough guys!

We had a ban before. And yet people still owned guns. Wow.

No we didn't. We had restrictions on cosmetic features that could be readily applied after the firearm in question was purchased. The AWB did not prevent the sale of weapons manufactured before it went into effect, nor did it restrict any weapons already in private hands. It "banned" nothing.

It banned purchases.

It did NOT ban purchases. It banned rifles from being sold with specific sets of features. So all the seller had to do was remove those features and sell them separately. Why is it that you gun grabbers never have the foggiest fucking clue what you're talking about?

Because we know what the end game is: A complete neutering of the 2nd Amendment. First it's "high capacity magazines, nobody needs those!". Then it's " 'Assault' rifles, nobody needs those!". Then it will be "Assault pistols, nobody needs those!". Then it will be "Semi-Automatics - nobody needs those!". And so on, and so on.

The line is drawn here and now. We've "compromised" enough. No fucking more.
