Bloomberg: I'm considering 2016 bid

He is running and he dislikes Trump and Bernie for president equally. Wait for it before you applaud his effort too much, guys.

If Nanny Bloomberg does get in the race, then whoever we nominate on the Republican side will be the next President hands down; it doesn't matter who it is.

Out of the two billionaires, Bloomberg understands how government works, Trump doesn't get it. He throws talking points into the air and steps back to see who will swallow it.

Bloomberg is much less scary.

Indeed.

Mayor mike bought off the City Council to allow him to run for a third term

he's got that whole government thing down pat

What is your thought process here? He'd rather have Hillary or someone other than Trump win. She's much better on the economy and some of his pet issues like the environment. If he sees Trump still winning after he gets in, he'll do something to stop that.

Christie is getting out, Rubio is stupid as hell, I doubt he likes Cruz... I just don't see Bloomberg liking the Republican crop that much this time.

How does his entering hurt the Republicans? Republicans aren't going to vote for Hillary, Sanders or Bloomberg. Democrats would split their votes between Sanders and Bloomberg. Independents will vote all three pretty evenly. So, the Republicans would gain alot by losing nothing.

And Republicans don't like him. That's the point.

Bloomberg will syphon more Democrat votes from the Democrat party than you've ever seen before. That will usher in the Republican nominee almost effortlessly. It would be the same way if Trump decided to break off and run Independent. He would draw so many votes out of the Republican constituency that the Democrats wouldn't even have to run their candidate any longer.

That same thing was said about Ralph Nader. He didn't take anything away from Democrats because people are committed by this time. Bloomberg will rail against Republicans and he has a billion to spend doing that.

He said he was entering because he doesn't like Trump or Bernie. Which other R would pass muster at this point and be strong enough not to crumble at the hands of Bloomberg. Hillary is strong enough to stand up to him, I don't think any R is.

Sure, Bloomberg is eccentric but like Ross Perot, he can really muck everything in the race up. Our candidates don't need his help and I'm pretty sure the Republicans don't either.

They'll be digging up dirt on him.

It'll be the Sanders or Hillary campaign spending to do that. I bet he's going to do it if Sanders runs. Primarily because it looks like he's doing this because of crazy Sanders. He'll back off if Hillary wins South Carolina.

He does attract tons of libs. The establishment libs especially. I can sense he's their last "hope". IF Hillary is out.

Nader only gave Florida to W....AAAARRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!

Feq Bloomberg!!

I have faith that the rest of the United States are not as stupid as to vote for Bloomberg for any public office.

An indictment of Hillary would knock her out of the race entirely, so that would leave people with the choice of an old Socialist or Nanny Bloomberg. I don't know when the deadline is for Biden if he wanted to join, but the Democrats can change their own rules at any time, so it's a moot point.

Money doesn't mean everything in winning an election. If that were true, Trump would have been in second or third place in NH because he spent less money there than other candidates. If money was the only issue, one of our past Presidents would have been Ross Perot.

Better people than Nanny Bloomberg have tried to take a swing at Trump and everyone of them regretted it. Sure, he, Hillary and Sanders can fight for the votes, but that's exactly what is going to cause the divide in Democrat votes. In the general election, Bloomberg is likely to take 1/3 or more of the Democrat votes and again, ushering in the Republican nominee almost effortlessly.

Well they haven't been able to produce an indictment yet. She won that debate and also 14 super delegates in NH so I'm not certain where you're getting your confidence that she'll be out of this race anytime soon.

I know your fantasies about her being dragged off to jail are strong and frequent but she's not going anywhere.

I'm hoping she doesn't. She has more baggage than a storage compartment of a 747. Hell, even the Democrats are voting in an admitted Socialist over her. He won with almost a 2 to 1 margin last night. People don't like this woman.

Likability means a lot in politics. It's the only reason DumBama won two terms. If Democrats think that people will come out in droves for Hillary like they did for DumBama, they have a rude awakening ahead of them.
