WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Blocked by the White House from testifying before Congress, Anthony Fauci said on Saturday that he would schedule a Zoom call with the entire country.​

The esteemed virologist said that the Zoom call would be an opportunity for all three hundred and twenty-eight million Americans to ask him questions about the White House’s response to the pandemic. “It’ll be just like one of the task-force briefings, only I’ll actually be allowed to talk,” he said.​

Fauci acknowledged that there could be logistical challenges to getting every person in the country on the same Zoom call.​

“Our faces will probably look pretty small, and they may freeze if there’s not enough bandwidth,” he said. “You might want to tell your kids to get off Fortnite for fifteen minutes.”​

I am not at all a Trump supporter, but Congress has proven to be guilty of trying to deliberately harm the country in order to attempt to make political advantage.
For example, the Benghazi hearings were treason, because clearly Ambassador Stevens has on legal reason to be in Benghazi. There is no US embassy or even consulate there. The only thing in Benghazi were rebels we wanted to arm, pay, and ship off to fight in Syria. And that was illegal. So Hillary could not mention it. Which then was used to make her look bad. But she should have looked bad, for the real reason that it is illegal and stupid to arm rebels to fight in Syria, because those actually are al Qaeda and ISIS, and do not share US interests.

Yes, attempting to "flatten the curve" prevents herd immunity, so then ensures the largest possible death toll by making the epidemic last as long as possible.
