'Violent' music does more good than bad. I've been listening to 'violent' music most of my life, and I am still not a serial killer or a violent graffiti drawer. I am just a normal, more or less civilized person like everyone else. What you call 'violent' music, with violent lyrics, actually helps you control your anger/sadness/unexpected will to conquer the world and enslave everyone on the planet. Such music lets you have an outburst of negative emotions while simply singing/screaming along with the singer. And at the very end, you just don't have any strength left to go and realize your 'evil plans'. Some people might find the inspiration in violent music, of course, but in my opinion, it's just a mere lack of education/positive atmosphere. But people wouldn't get inspired from bad and pointless music (pop), would they?
