Robert Jeffress: Trump’s alleged affair with porn star ‘totally irrelevant’ to his evangelical base – Baptist News Global

“Evangelicals still believe in the commandment: Thou shalt not have sex with a porn star,” Jeffress said. “However, whether this president violated that commandment or not is totally irrelevant to our support of him.”

Jeffress said “even if it’s proven true, it doesn’t matter.”

Writer Campbell Robertson said many African-Americans who began attending majority white churches in the interest of racial reconciliation began having qualms when white preachers were silent about police violence against unarmed blacks.

his (Trump's) comments about immigrants, open hostility to NFL players who kneel during the National Anthem and false claim that former President Barack Obama is not a U.S. citizen.

“We were willing to give up our preferred worship style for the chance to really try to live this vision of beloved community with a diverse group of people,” she said. “That didn’t work.”

A Quiet Exodus: Why Black Worshipers Are Leaving White Evangelical Churches

At Gateway, black worshipers would discreetly ask one another if they were the only ones who noticed that one could talk about seemingly anything but racism, a feeling one former congregant described as an out-of-body experience.

Seems if blacks attending those churches brought up any of their concerns, they were asked why they were being so divisive.

Easy Observation:

Democrats: Klan, Nation of Islam, La Raza, Black Panthers, Muslim Brotherhood, racist AztlĂĄn Nationalist, racist BLM separatist, hate and racism

Republicans: Chamber of Commerce, PTA, Rotary Club, American Legion, 4H Club, Lion’s Club, Boy Scouts, Little League, VFW, great neighborhoods, good schools, National Honor Society, Junior League…… juuuuust grilling and chilling…..

Here are a few questions for anyone who finds this OP to be poignant:

Please give me an example of meaningful endemic racism in the U.S. today, that targets "Blacks."

Where are the "Blacks" who are turned down for jobs for which they are qualified, because of their race? Or turned down for promotions?

Who are the "Blacks" who qualify to go to, say, selective schools, and are turned down because of their race?

Show me a group of statistics that proves that "Blacks" are more likely to be shot or seriously injured by police than are "whites" in similar circumstances.

Show me data that proves that "Black" poverty is unrelated to factors like dropping out of school, having children out of wedlock, criminal activity, and failing to seek gainful employment, and is actually due to racial discrimination.

I won't hold my breath waiting for this evidence of racism.

Racism is such a microscopic issue for "Blacks" in the U.S. these days, that its effects can realistically be presumed to be zero. Expecting a white Protestant Minister to lecture on the evils of racism is absurd because it's not actually a problem. Any minister who does this is merely pandering and patronizing the few "Blacks" in the congregation.

Seems like blacks who attended those churches are pissed that they can't direct the church's concern to black victimhood.

Find another Church. I suggest the Church of Perpetual Petulance.

What is "similar circumstances"? Talking on a cellphone in your grandmother's backyard?

I have a friend who is a data scientist who has proven that the state of PA has been guilty of not using the "Fair Funding Act" they themselves put into law. Funds are disproportionately going to white suburban schools and not to inner city or rural schools. He and his group have made numerous trips to Harrisburg trying to get fairness for inner city black and brown schools.

I also have a friend who came her from Jamaica and enrolled her son in high school. She wanted him to take a college prep course. The teacher took one look at him and said he would be better suited to a vocational course. She said the college prep would be too hard for him.

I know a black man who worked for a toy company for many years. He was passed over many times for raises and promotions. Recently, he was told he would have to train the new white guy who was being brought in to take an open managerial position. When he refused, he was fired. You can not tell me or him that it had nothing to do with race.

I do not believe that there are pages and pages of statistics put together anywhere that would "prove" endemic racism like you request. I do, however, believe that many, many daily acts take place that are hidden, covered up, and denied. I believe that most black people can give you personal examples of discrimination.

To me it's not about numbers and statistics, it's about lives that are negatively effected by racism. It's kind of like when I tell you I believe in God because I have spoken to him. You may doubt it. You may laugh at it. You may totally deny that it could ever happen. But for me, it's nothing but the truth. It's about personal experience.

Just curious. Could you have posted a pic of a bunch of blacks milling around, breaking storefront windows for looting purposes, setting fire to cars and businesses, and running off with armloads of free stuff as an example of a march? Or are the rioters moving around a bit to briskly and thus unable to keep in a straight line while holding hands. In other words, are the straight lines and hand holding required for march classification consideration?

No he could not because that's not a march.

You post all of these anecdotes, but you conveniently leave out the names of the subjects, scumbag. Because they do not exist.

The only time you posted any anecdote that could be researched and verified was when you got on the TV news in Philidelphia IIRC. In that case we could look up the actual criminal records. And those records were regarding a black person violently attacking white folks that he didn't even know. And on this site it be verified that violent criminal's mother is an anti-white racist scumbag.

Some stupid people are actually moral people who can be beneficial to a society. However, you are not that type of stupid person. You are a stupid person who is also a disgusting piece of shit with no morals or value to society whatsoever.

You are a stain on humanity.

You are such an idiotic disgusting piece of shit that, if you didn't dox yourself by using your actual name and location, I would have probably thought you were some uber-conservative pretending to be a left-winger in order to make left-wingers look stupid and disgusting.
