Exactly but the most scary thing is the precedent this case could set. All of a sudden you could no longer be allowed to offend anyone on the website without risk of a lawsuit.

If they want to ban the site from work, that's understandable since it probably causes a distracting work environment. It would be like you shouldn't be playing loud porn in your office cubicle at 10 in the morning.

However, if it's privately owned, off-duty, etc then this case should be thrown out of court. I believe this case is looking to get the site shut down in general, which is tossing freedom of speech in the trash.

Well, this is a Second Amendment issue, and these people that are offended had better just buck up and get used to it. Nobody can defend racism. I agree. The white or brown or tan almond eyed folks who are not racist are happy people, with the ignorance of not knowing exactly how the black folks continue to discriminate themselves against the very same people who speak for them. Bottom line is that the black race is more discriminatory than any other race. They continue to bring discrimination upon themselves by continuing to live in a completely different culture than the rest of the races, and continue to blame the white culture for their woes. Until the black man brings himself out of the "woe is me" my forefathers were slaves" syndrome, the black man will continue to be chastised by not only the white man, but by all other cultures as well.

Again you exhibit you inability to comprehend. What I'm saying is that a person has the right to his opinion no matter who it offends. You toss around perjoratives like cracker and monkey so what's the difference in what you do and what these police officers have allegedly done?

Personally I beleive a person can like or dislike anyone or any group for whatever reason they choose. 1. The title of this thread is misleading. The officers aren't suing the message board, they're suing the city.

2. Why are these men and women surfing the Internet/posting to/MODERATING this board during working hours? Are there not enough jaywalkers and teenagers smoking schwag to keep them busy?
