HBO host Bill Maher accused Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg of “bullying” Fox News anchor Laura Ingraham for the advertising boycott of her primetime program.

Maher said during his Real Time with Bill Maher show Friday night that he wanted to “defend” Ingraham as more than a dozen companies pulled spots from her show.

Maher challenged Hogg, a 17-year-old who has become a major voice for gun control along with other fellow classmates following the deadly mass shooting in Florida almost two months ago.

Hogg would not be the first applicant to bemoan not being accepted by one or more colleges/universities. Most high schoolers apply to one or more "long shot" schools and hope for the best, and, yes, they rue not getting admitted to any of their "long shot" schools. They're teenagers; of course, they do.

According to the UC site, a minimum 3.4 GPA is required for non-California residents to get in. The Florida teen has a 4.2 GPA and an SAT score of 1270. (Source)

• The average GPA at UCLA is 4.31...If your GPA is at or below the school average of 4.31, you'll need a higher SAT score to compensate and show that you're prepared to take on college academics....
• A 1250 places you below average, while a 1500 will move you up to above average....There's no absolute SAT requirement at UCLA, but they really want to see at least a 1250 to have a chance at being considered.This will help you compete effectively with other applicants....
• The acceptance rate at UCLA is 17%

Based on the above, it's no surprise Hogg didn't get admitted to UCLA. Hell, 83% of the people who applied to UCLA didn't get admitted.
