He did get a big event to stamp his Presidency. It's called the world trade center bombing. But instead of doing what needed to be done, he ignored the thread. Which is why we were hit on 9/11 shortly after the transfer of power.

The first WTC bombing was not a big event in the historical scheme of things.

The perpetrators, under Clinton, were all tried and sit in federal prison today.
Bush, Jr. ignored warnings from the Clinton administration, resulting in the downing of the towers.

As a prez -was no great shakes.

As far a Clinton - he had Obama in his sights in a training camp in Afg in 1998 - but called it off because he didnd want to kill arab sheiks............

He most likely knew what was going to happen, hence the complaining about Bush ignoring warnings. Clinton probably hoped it was going to happen sooner.

Or may Clinton KNEW it wouldn't happen in time...so he didn't warn Bush "adequately" so Bush would look bad that it happened under his 'watch'.

Hey...ya never know! It's pretty sad how everyone has gotten to the point where they don't know who they can really trust. We all know now it's not our government.
