They just can't view the police as being the enemy. many police are in fact conservatives. However, these same police enforce all the draconian policies of the welfare state. They will come and throw you out of your house if you don't pay your property taxes.

It's a mistake to view the police as allies.

And why the Hell should they do that? Were these riders breaking any laws to justify being detained by the police? What threat exists to the officers by the rider riding his bike away from a detention that the police had no right to execute? Lucky they didn't start shooting? No, it's the cops who are lucky that they didn't start shooting. Getting fired would have ended up being the least of their worries.

Almost every time I have an encounter with those who are supposed to serve and protect, I invariably have a bad experience. One time the cops set a speed trap at the bottom of a hill two blocks away from my house. How many people don't speed up when they are going down hill? Answer: no one. The cops just needed to fill their ticket quota for the month. I got two tickets in two days, then I never saw the cops again.

One lesson I have learned is never talk to the cops. They will lie to you and trick you into admitting stuff that won't help your case and that you have no legal obligation to tell them. If they ask you any questions, tell them to consult with your lawyer. You don't need to say a thing to them, and you're foolish if you do.

I think rottweiler may be a police officer. That's why he gets so hostile about people calling the police "pigs."

I just reached what I was supposed to be...its easier to describe what I believe by saying Libertarian. People here anarchist they think violence and idiots in black smashing windows and spray painting shit. I don't like corrupt,power hungry cops. No good majority of Paul supporters are normal folks college kids,stay at home moms etc,some are voluntaryists,some are Libertarians some are minarchists some are ancaps like me...we vary...I didn't pick anything believe it or not I used to be a socialist...I picked the republican party when registering to vote because they were closer to my views at the time at least on immigration etc...just don't feel like changing that now...plus being registered republican means I can vote in the republican primaries.Which is where Liberty republicans usually run although there is a liberty democrat running for congress in Tn.

Provide a little back drop as to why the police were blocking the road, instead of just gunning straight into "cops are pigs and need to be done away with" bullshit you spout.

Had something to do with they didn't like all the bikers coming to St Louis for a huge rally,someone said something like 3k bikers...hell why do cops do half the shit they do? Because they have a badge of power and they can that's why.

We as a free nation of people that don't question authority won't have freedoms long,But as I said not all cops are bad,but we have many that should never be giving a gun and the authority to use it.

Or have your car ransaked for 2 hours by a Texas state trooper just because he could. That was one scary 2 hours,I was driving back to NY from Arizona after visiting my daughter at ASU,arch typical red neck,cowboy boot,hat big belt buckle.

He refused to tell me why he stopped me,tore my truck apart finding NOTHING cause there was nothing to find . Threatened me with one of those big extendo wands they have.

Alone on I40 in the texas panhandle there was little I coud do but stand in front of his car hoping that there was a dash video.

He reluctantly let me go after 2 hours.

You didn't have to let him search your car. Cops often ask people they stop if they can search your car. Most people don't realize they can just say "no." Those are the kind of games cops will play.

I have had a cop wave a gun in my face. I ran out of gas and a cop car pulled up behind me. I was walking towards the patrol car when one of the cops got out and started waving his gun in my face.

Don't ever give a cop an inch. Don't answer any of his questions or agree to let him do anything.
