It's very possible that Cruz could lose his senate seat. Then there goes the Senate.

To give you an idea just how bad things are right now, here is a sample.

I am in an extremely red area. Democrats are sacrificial lambs led to the slaughter. I have told those that know me that I would never be either a Dem nor a Republican because both parties have sold us all out. I know that both parties have very radical platforms that if you don't live by them you can't be elected. Around here, it's the Ultra Right Wingers Platform. I am an old style Progressive Republican sometimes mistaken for a RINO or a Blue Dog Dem. More than one Business Owner has suggested that I run for City Council to test the waters and they would support me and they would help to groom me. But I would have to do it as a Republican. You see, I have a view that the only reason any person joins a party is that one has to join one party or the other to run, and there should be no other reason. They already know that I would not cowtow to the "Party Plank". But in order to clean up Washington, first we have to clean up our local politics which is just as messy and corrupt.
