If you really thought that blacks are human, you would not think this way about them.

What is interesting is the fact that here in America is where blacks are injoying the best quality of life anywhere in the world. In fact where blacks live in the world without whites, is the areas where blacks suffer the most.

The point is, if you belive a couple of hundred of years of slavery has changed blacks, just think how thousands and thousands of years living in the jungle has left them unchanged.

No. I haven't felt this way all along. In fact, I don't think that I really told you how I felt. I merely told you what happened and my afterthought. I try to consider each person on an individual basis and not make assumptions. I try to keep a positive outlook and expect people, regardless of race, to do the right thing.

I did not have concern for the towel (a cheap piece of cloth that I would have probably given away if someone had asked to have it). I felt surprised by the fact that every single person left the pool except for me. I thought that some of the swimmers had a right to be there. Some of them might have been living at the apartment and/or some of them might have been guests. I also felt awkward while I casually watched them all leave and I became the only one with a legitimate right to swim there. I was the only one left in the pool.

Even after this incident, I will not hold it against Blacks that were not involved. I will continue to hold any racial bias and prejudice, that I might have, in check. I will continue to make opinions and decisions on people on an individual case-by-case basis.

Also helped ourselves to another pool down the road in an apartment complex, this was with about 6 other people and had ourselves a good time, brought the keg and all in with us!

I am one of the least self confident people you will ever meet. This is due to my upbringing that would make a fantastic book or movie as it haunts me every fricken day. MY DAD owned a small business in AC/HTG which had more than 10 employees. He had a reputation for quality that was superior to anyone within 3 hours drive. He didn't have any black people as nobody came along looking for a job who was black. The state came along and told him the next app filled out by a black person had to be accepted and a position filled. -EVEN THOUGH MY DAD HAD NO OPENINGS.

The next guy filing an app was a black person wanting a sales job. My dad did all bids and sales since he could eyeball and spit out a bid in 1 hour when other guys would take days for the same bid and come out less precise. My dad, according to the law, had to hire him.

After 3 months, this guy bid a school district job. The way things work is that if a bid is submitted, and accepted, you cannot go back. This guy faxed a bid for the school district job $100,000 BELOW COST. My dad found the time the bid was submitted was 8ish at night as he saw the fax machine at 7:30 AM the next day. He immediately called and tried to cancel the bid.

The district signed it.

With a stroke of the pen, my dad was bankrupt.
