One must ask themselves, in this new era of mass communication and unlimited entertainment what value PBS has to offer. If on the other hand the private sector wishes to fund 100% of the operating expense then so be it, otherwise it's a luxury we can least afford, considering the country barrows over $.40 cents of each dollar it spends I can think of other needy locations those dollars can be directed.
