Wattsburg, Pa. — Vice President Joe Biden visited a small town on the outskirts of Erie today to talk to rural folks about federal stimulus money that can be used to expand broadband access to the Internet for rural areas that typically have poor connections.

Apparently stimulus money and broadband are not all that interesting to the local folk here: Only around 100 or so people have showed up so far to hear Biden talk at noon at Seneca High School off Route 8 in Wattsburg.

1.) A SMALL town on the OUTSKIRTS of Erie.

2.) Ever think the people in that area just maybe don't care about the whole broadband access thing?

so, less than 100 people show up for the VP and you dont think thats funny?
you need your funny bone examined

LOL

And how does giving 'broad band access' to hicks help the economy?

Its another example of the fraud that BO calls 'the stimulous bill.'

It's funny in a way but not surprising. Recall the fact of how much votes Joe Biden alone got back in the primaries. He doesn't have the exact mass cult followings like Obama, Palin, or Hillary.

Maybe they should build a bridge to Erie. That's probably why no one showed up, there was no bridge. Isn't that in the stimulus package? Bridges?

it said it was a small town. What proportion of the town showed up?

Seriously, I would walk across the street to avoid hearing him, but this kind of thing isn't uncommon. It actually makes better sense than the huge gatherings. He might get a chance to listen to some folks

There is that, after all, Mr Biden did vote for the bridge to nowhere.

The liberals can make al of the excuses they wish for Biden, but the truth is his message has worn thin. Obama is next!

Oh the sweet, sweet, irony in the fact you brought up the Bridge to Nowhere.
maybe you should check out the ones that were actually built, like in West Virginia
gee, i wonder what NAME they put on THOSE bridges?

and btw, that bridge in Alaska that was never built, actually DID go to somewhere
unlike the ones in WV
