Statistics can be manipulated ...

This table shows the labor force, employment, unemployment, and unemployment rate for Louisiana in 2008 in that order. I found this at Bureau of Labor Statistics site. There were no numbers from 2009 available. (I hope y'all can follow it, link underneath).

Bureau of Labor Statistics Data

Over the course of a year they added 6557 jobs. However, since their peak in August they have lost an astounding 13,560 jobs.

In addition, the overall unemployment rate went from 4.0 in January to 5.9 in December nearly a 50% increase over the course of the year. From June through the end of the year the rate went UP every month save one. That's pretty hard to sweep under the rug.

But yeah, he's right in that Biden's numbers were wrong but that "fact" checker wasn't so hot himself, Louisiana is hurting too.
