BIDEN claims Syria is 5 times the size of Libya!?!?!?

I think Biden meant that Libya is 5 times the size of Syria. Thus why Libya meritted more attention than Syria.

1. He was listing reasons why the United States did not get involve in Syria.

2. Libya is nearly 10 times the size of Syria in geographic area.

3. Syria though is the larger country in terms of population with 22.5 million people to about 6 million for Libya.

4. No matter how you stack it, Biden got it wrong.

Yeah I agree. It was clearly one of those facts he memorized, and then couldnt quite remember what he was supposed to say.

Even if he meant it the other way around, it would still not be correct as Libya is about 10 times the size of Syria. The Vice President suggested that Syria was nearly the size of Brazil! LOL
