This may count as more than just another 'gaff' by that clueless old doofus. In a speech - in Virgina no less - Biden warned the crowd that a vote for Romney would "put y'all back in chains." Biden gets a free pass on saying offensive shit all the time because he is a known mental case, but this may be too far even for the compliant press.
