The first qualification for choice of the best TV theme song is that it had to be composed for the TV show it introduced. My 2nd qualification is that it hasn't died with the show. Based on these 2 factors I can think of only one tune that hasn't been forgotten some 50+ years after the show went off the air, yet will be performed in part hundred or perhaps thousands of times live the entire year round.
