best thing in your life vs worst thing in your life

I'm a good-looking, healthy 22-year-old white male in college. There is no "worst" thing in my life.

No no, I take that back. Deciding which bar to go to on Friday night is always a pretty hard decision.

Sorry to hear that Manu. I can't imagine what that must be like.

it is why a hug from my son is the best thing...my fathers death ensures that i appreaciate my son

The absolute worst thing that ever happened to me was when I was called at 4:00 AM to go to the hospital to end the life of my father. I didn't know he was dying, he hadn't told me. I got the call, and got there too late to talk to him, he was on machines and was already gone. He had given me power of attorney for decisions such as this, again without my knowledge. I had to show up and tell them to shut off the machines...

The best thing was the birth of my daughters. They are the brightest lights in my life. There is a reason that laughter and daughter are spelled much the same.

The best thing in my life is my girlfriend.
The worst thing in my life is the distance between us.

Best so far: my (step)daughter telling me that I'm "a great dad."

Worst: a couple of episodes concerning an ex-fiance come to mind.

The best thing has been watching my kids choose paths that lead to being successful adults.

The worst thing was watching my mom fade for nearly 10 years, then die.

The best thing, other than my walk with God (boring, stereotypical answer), has been watching my sister grow into a strong, thoughtful, woman who thinks for herself.

The worst thing has been watching a friend of mine go to prison for child porn. It was worse than seeing my friend's girlfriend lying on a hospital bed, knowing she drove the truck into the wreck that killed what was then her greatest love. At least I know he's in a better place and that he lived the fullest, greatest life a nineteen year old can be expected to live. I have a feeling my other friend will die in prison, killed by those who see his sentence as too light...and I never saw it coming.

best thing.... having two excellent parents who love each other and beat my ass into being a good, honest person.

worst thing... feeling helpless when others are suffering.
