A "Surge"/Surrender Plan in no Plan at all. Al Qaeda and the Taliban have won. They're dancing in the streets over this latest plan. The "Drug War" was a huge mistake over there as well. It was a diversion which was completely unnecessary and may be one of the biggest reasons we have failed over there. Their Drug War has only alienated many Afghans who would have otherwise supported us. That decision alone might go down as one of the biggest military blunders in history. Killing and eliminating Al Qaeda and the Taliban was tough enough and they certainly didn't need to conduct a "Drug War" simultaneously. It's all just very sad.
