What are the best movie fight scenes?
Here's a list of my favorites.
- The greatest cinematic fight scene of all-time - Indiana Jones against the big, bald Nazi by the airplane with Mariam inside the cockpit.
- Arnold Schwarzeneger against the two terrorists in the bathroom of the fancy hotel.
- Final fight scene in Enter The Dragon in the hall of mirrors.
- Luke Skywalker vs Dain The Empire Strikes Back.
- Rocky vs Apollo in Rocky.
- Whole tournament at the end of the Karate Kid.
- The Bride vs. the Crazy 88s and O-Ren Ishii in 'Kill Bill Vol. 1'
- Neo vs Mr. Smith in the final fight scene in The Matrix.
- The motel fight scene between Patricia Arquette and James Gandalfini in True Romance should have been top ten.
- Inigo Montoya vs. the Man in Black in The Princess Bride.
- Bruce Willis as John McClain in Die Hard vs the terrorist where they beat the crap out of each other before John finally wraps a chain around his head and shoves him across the room while the tangos suspended in the air and then draws his weapon and shootos him several times while he's swinging. Great freakin fight scene.
- Adam Sandler vs Bob Barker in Happy Gilmore. Funny as crap.
- Mel Gibson vs Gary Busey in Lethal Weapon at the end. He finally kills him with a triangle choke.
- Cool Hand Luke boxing scene.
- Eddie Murphy vs Della Reese in Harlem Nights. Funniest fight scene ever!
- Bruce Lee vs Chuck Norris in Way of the Dragon.
- ***** Vader vs Luke Skywalker in Return of the Jedi.
- Jake Lamotta vs Sugar Ray Robinson in Raging Bull.
- Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi vs ***** Maul in Phantom Menace.
And I'll tell you the absolute worst fight scene in cinematic history. Vigo Mortenson naked fighting another naked man all over the floor in a locker room for what seems like an eternity. Do we really need to see that?
