I gotta agree with you.

The first time I saw it I was blown away because I didn't realize it was a Geico ad. I had switched channels and missed the Geico guy's intro, so I couldn't figure out what the hell was going on. It was definitely the Antique Road Show type format but then the guy - straight faced as hell - tells the woman what great shape it's in and whatnot and that it's worth two in the bush? And the look on her face and her comments are Oscar/Emmy stuff. I was half thinking it was some kind of put on and half thinking it was real.

And then of course some time later I caught it from the beginning and realized what a dumbbell I'd been first go-round.

What a clever ad-guy to have come up with this!

The little piggie one is good, but this one is great...

now everyone in my house is going around saying "realllllly???"

I hate Geico but they do have some good commercials.
This is one of their best.

Any of the Geico ads, IMO.

I'm partial to this one (and the DI one): [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjGwusHrOtk"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjGwusHrOtk[/ame]

One of my faves from years ago was an ad for Jeno's Egg Rolls. It starts with a wide shot of these guys milling around a table and picking up what turns out to be egg rolls and popping them in their mouths. They're all wearing long white lab type coats. As the camera zooms in on them the voice over says, "Nine out of ten doctors surveyed prefer Jeno's brand egg rolls." And when you can clearly see all ten of them you realize 9 of them are Chinese faces.
