Bernie Sanders Stands Up For The Middle Class By Dropping a Huge Fact Bomb On The Senate

We might as well give up the fight and all our freedoms over to the "the Government"

the entitled citizens of today want the government to take care of them . they don't care it's coming OFF the backs of taxpayers. No pride anymore
Well maybe the freedom to go hungry, go without medical care and so on. Do the American people have the right to expect the government to work for the rights of all the American people, is it not our nation, our government? Sort of a we the people thing.

I can't figure out why we do everything to protect the uber wealthy so hard? They've never had it better and we just keep on falling over ourselves as a country to protect them.

There was a time, in the wayback machine of our national collective childhood, when nobody was rich, and that was what everybody wanted, entertaining the childlike idea that money would solve everything. So anybody who "made it" was admired and groveled to as some sort of superior class, basically dividing the public economically into two distinct classes (which of course contradicts the democratic Liberalism this country is founded on, but such is the delusional power of greed) that we might call the Grabber Class and the Groveler Class. To such an extreme grew this dichotomous class system that it was actually considered, for example, a sign of "success" to be grotesquely obese.

Hence the bizarre concept of "never enough" relentless material and power acquisition that naturally led to super-national* conglomerations and monopolies in the macrocosm, Type A Personality heart attacks in the microcosm, and a gradual maturing realization that those who grabbed weren't getting all their problems solved and those who groveled weren't either.

*("Super-national", today's word-birth, meaning 'having such national power that it exceeds that of the government itself" -- see also "too big to fail", see also "Lobbyism"; see also "DC Revolving Door")

(A subset tangent of this class system may be seen in the "Celebrity Class", the idea that the "movie star" and its ilk is somehow a superior life form, equally silly and not directly relevant here but this Class also has its attendant Grovelers.)

Eventually as our national collective pubic hair came in we started to figure out that sheer perpetual individualist material acquisition was a fucked up idea that served only select members of the Grabber Class on the backs of the Grovelers. The latter group, being the Third Estate who founded this Country, began to realize they had thrown off the First and Second Estates of Church and Nobility (the Liberalism revolution), only to replace them with the Grabber Estate. At this point they began to quit groveling, which of course the Grabber Class, through its by-now complete domination of political discourse (owning 98% of media and controlling virtually all aspects of government through K Street) frames in pseudovictim terms as attacks on "small business" :lmao: --

It is an Orwellian euphemism if ever there was one but of course, the Grabber Class controls the Telescreens, comrade, and has placed them everywhere for its own purpose, and you WILL watch it. And if an idea is nailed into the head relentlessly enough, provided the hammer is provided a mass audience ingesting a single message en masse and simultaneously, the lumpen proletariat can be to a significant extent controlled electronically -- exactly as Orwell predicted.

So the short answer to this very good question is, at the most charitable, that here in our national adolescence they represent the as-yet immature who still live in the past (conservatism) and are simply behind the growth-spurt curve; and at the more candid, maybe they either like the idea of Authoritarianism, or are just naïve -- or both.

Or maybe they simply like to Grovel. :dunno:

This old fool Bernie Sanders is an admitted Socialist.

It has not even been a generation since the greatest Socialist experiment in history--United Socialist Soviet Union--collapsed in glorious ignominity, joining its total and complete failure with the same result as in all previous Socialists experiments, including the Utopian Societies in America.

It has been shown to all but those who are too ignorant to learn from History, that Karl Marx sucks.

Where do you people come from?

To nutters like you, everyone is a socialist or communist if they do not believe in near anarchy and a tax rate no higher than 10%. The funny thing is that what we are currently witnessing is the last stand for conservatives, because this type of conservatism is going to go the way of the dinosaur.
