Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt), who campaigned hard against the Trans-Pacific Partnership in last year’s Democratic presidential primaries, praised President Trump for an executive order to officially pull the United States out of the deal.

“I am glad the Trans-Pacific Partnership is dead and gone,” Sanders said. “For the last 30 years, we have had a series of trade deals — including the North American Free Trade Agreement, permanent normal trade relations with China and others — which have cost us millions of decent-paying jobs and caused a ‘race to the bottom’ which has lowered wages for American workers. Now is the time to develop a new trade policy that helps working families, not just multinational corporations. If President Trump is serious about a new policy to help American workers, then I would be delighted to work with him.”

Let's see if the losers condemn Sanders or agree with their socialist god.

even his brother Kernel is praising Trump, so much that he is already planning to open 50,000 more new restaurants here in the USA,,creating another 34.9 Million jobs.

The media is still obsessed about the attendance at the inaugural.

lol, Trump finally does something right.

You know it's right because BERNIE SANDERS is endorsing it.

Best part is, it forces the USMB to AGREE with Bernie.

Bernie told you so. I told you so.

lol, I KNEW this would happen - the Right that has been pro free trade for decades now is going to pretend anti-NAFTA, anti-free trade was THEIR idea.

I can't tell. Are you more concerned about American workers? If so, then you certainly must be for lowering corporate tax rates in order to incentivize companies to stay here in this country and hire American workers.

Well, are you for lowering the corporate tax rates in order to bring jobs back here or not?

So that these pathetic cities across America get saved?

Democrats are a fucking disaster. After their epic failures, they are somehow able to convince you ALL that those problems are the white mans fault. The conservatives fault. Even though ALL of those cities have not had a republican near them for over 50 years.

Yes. Cankles loved TPP.

The D party is the party of the establishment , but somehow many D voters don't know it.

Most democrat voters might have been against the trade deals - nafta, tpp etc. Problem is, the leadership didn't care. bill clinton ramrodded nafta and other crap giveaways through with a vengeance. Along comes obama, talking against these deals that have hurt workers - till he gets in office, then he continues the trend. He was even able to keep the tpp secret till after the 2012 election. Nice to see Sanders, one of the few honest democrats left, to give recognition to Trump.

Now is the time to develop a new trade policy that helps working families, not just multinational corporations.

Who isn't a member of a "working family?" Let's be honest, damn near everyone who's benefitted from our trade agreements has been a "working American" and a member of a family comprised of working Americans, thus working families.
