Bernie Sanders has no realistic path to the Democratic nomination. Despite the protestations of postmodern mathematicians, his campaign is no longer about who will represent Blue America in the main event this fall, but rather, how Hillary Clinton will choose to represent it.

The socialist senator still refuses to cop to this fact. Earlier this week, he suggested that anyone who thinks Clinton is the presumptive Democratic nominee must harbor a secret longing for authoritarian rule. And his campaign promises to take its fight to the convention, even in the (beyond likely) scenario that Clinton boasts a massive lead in pledged delegates when all the votes are counted.

In justifying this patently anti-democratic stance, the campaign has encouraged supporters to view its losses as illegitimate – reflections of a process rigged through too few debates, too many closed primaries, and too much cooperation between the Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton. For some Sanders supporters, this critique has taken on the moral authority of the candidate’s jeremiads against the “rigged” financial system, magnifying the stakes of the primary fight and the animosity they feel toward its likely winner.

Sanders is just a bitter old man who got his socialist ass kicked by Hillary. His scorched-earth agenda is not good for Democrats or America. He should rise above his bitterness. It is becoming more and more evident why he has never been a Democrat until running for president. He should have run as a Socialist Party candidate.

Are you saying that there is no legitimacy to Sanders claims? No "deck stacking" or favoritism for Hillary by the DNC and Wasserman Schultz at all?
Of course there was, but Bernie isn't a democrat, and Hillary will finish out with more delegates pledged as a result of primaries and caucuses. Bernie was happily surprised by the crowds, and he desperately doesn't want it to end .... he's a rock star .... if he weren't so old, he'd get laid.

Lefties seem to have a flair for the dramatic when they get frustrated. Staying in the race until one candidate or the other has the majority of delegates is hardly an example of "scorched earth" policy. Hillary would be far worse off if the DNC didn't cheat and award Hillary delegates she didn't earn.

Both Bernie and Trump choose parties that they don't actually belong to. Funny as hell that they couldn't run without digging into the far reaches of each parties loons.

And you think Hillary represents Democrat principles???

Probably b/c the two filthy parties have rigged the system where only THEIR parties can win. Now if that isn't collusion, I don't know what is.

He may think like a lot of Americans, that being we can't believe the D party will nominate a lying, corrupt, criminal owned by the 1%....and a warmonger to boot.

Bernie knew the DNC rules up front just like everyone else. Now he's whining his senile old ass off.

That is correct. There is no legitimacy in his claims. She has over 2 million more votes AND more pledge delegates than Sanders. Nothing was stacked and nothing is being stolen.

The fact that they have "super delegates" should tell your dumb liberals something. The DNC doesn't care what YOU want, they're gonna give you who THEY want, whether YOU like it or not. Suck it up, this is your party.

I don't think that is true. Candidates are looking to tap into the RNC or DNC gravy train and that makes them sell out.
