Well you gotta love it. Of course democrat Ben Nelson thought he was doing great for his consitutents--when he was basically bought off by this administration--(got a behind closed door special deal) to vote for Obamacare. LOOKS LIKE IT HAS BACKFIRED. Now--weeks later--Nelson actually writes a letter to the congress actually stating that OH NO--he didn't just want the special deal for his home state of Nebraska--he wanted it for all the states---:lol: Maybe he wrote the letter after this pizza parlour incident--:lol:

There is JUSTICE after all--:clap2:

Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson and his wife were leaving dinner at a new pizza joint near their home in Omaha one night last week when a patron began complaining about Nelson’s decisive vote in favor of the Senate’s health care bill.

Other customers started booing. A woman yelled, “Get him the hell out of here!” And the Nelsons and their dining companions beat a hasty retreat.

“It was definitely a scene in there,” said Tom Lewis, a 41-year-old dentist and registered Republican who witnessed the incident. A second witness confirmed the incident to POLITICO.

It’s a new experience for Nelson.

The jackass represents a conservative state, did he really think they would like his back room deals for something they oppose?

Apparently--Nelson thought he could get away with it. Nebraskans were embarrased that they were getting a special deal- that the rest of the country would have to pay for. And yes, Nelson obviously didn't listen to his constituents--they didn't want it anyway--& they didn't vote for Obama--so Nelson makes the #1 "idiot" of the year award.

What's really hillarious is he is now stating he had no intention of getting a "special" deal for his vote--he intended that all 50 states get the same deal.

Now--one would have to be a total moron to believe that one--LOL

It seemed at one point that Nelson was actually a conservative Democrat but alas he buckled and lost his phony front. He's toast, at least until Obama gives him a sweet deal of some sort , like an ambassadorship.

Or.. who knows, he may get thrown under the bus after Obama and the Democrats suck him dry.

When Scott Brown wins on Tuesday, the Democrats will away scurry like rats.....

IF (big IF) Scott Brown wins on Tuesday, Mr. Brown seems like a honorable man with his heart in the right place but he's still a long shot to win in Massachusetts (although personally I hope he does).

He'll win. This is the beginning of the end for Obama's socialist fantasy.

:lol: If Scott Brown can win in MASS. you will see democrats running from Obamacare like a bunch of rats leaving a sinking ship.

Right now I am looking at a poll that shows Brown ahead of Coakely by 50% to 46%.

Coakely has got some baggage too, over this 2-1/2 year little girl that was raped by her uncle with a curling iron.

I think if the citizens of MASS actually knew her record as a DA--they would be in favor of prosecuting her for derliction of duty & not promoting her to senator.

I believe Massachusetts's has the highest health care costs in the country and overwhelmingly oppose Obama care, hopefully they wont want to impose it on the rest of the country and give the rest of us a break.

Oh fuc-ing hell do I hope you are right.

I just don't trust the out of state union influence going on in Mass right now...

That would suck. He had to be embarassed as hell. Back room deals are not what the forefathers intended, though it is an unfortunate part of the system.

Interesting fact about women and federal politics in Massachusetts..

For a state as liberal as Massachusetts, there has been a glass ceiling between women and federal politics. Niki Tsongas was the first woman from Massachusetts elected to Congress in 25 years when she won a special election in 2007. Massachusetts backed Hillary Clinton over Barack Obama by 15 points in its presidential primary, and it has been itching to elect a woman statewide since.

They've been able to sell the "morons" a whole heap of bullshit so far, and while I agree(and hope you're correct) that "..one would have to be a total moron to believe that one", nothing would surprise me anymore.:eusa_eh:

Obama just wanted his vote for cloture. He is toast now.

Even if he wins, he'll likely not be seated until after the health care vote. Hopefully, the backlash evidenced by the sentiment in Massachusetts will cause some other pro-socialist congressmen to change their minds and defeat the bill.
