The press is letting this slide because he's black but if a white candidate said this, the press would crucify him.

Ben Carson: ‘I Do Believe in the Six-Day Creation’ of the World

oct 1 2015 Dr. Ben Carson, a pediatric neurosurgeon, National Academy of Sciences Institute of Medicine member, and the author of six best-selling books, said he believes in the six-day creation as described in the Bible and that there is abundant geological evidence there was a worldwide flood.

“You go back to the very first chapter in the Bible -- and I’m not a hard and fast person who says the Earth is only 6,000 years old -- but I do believe in the six-day creation,” he said.

“It says, in the beginning God created the Heaven and the Earth,” continued Dr. Carson. “It doesn’t say when He created them except for in the beginning. The Earth could have been here for a long time before he started creating things on it.”

“But when He did start doing that, He made it very specifically clear to us: the evening and the morning were the next day,” said Carson. “Because He knew that people would come along and try to say, ‘oh, it was millions and millions of years.’”

In reference to Darwinian evolution, Dr. Carson continued, “And then what else did He say in the very first chapter? That each thing brought forth after its own kind. Because He knew people would come along and say, you know, this changed into that and this changed into that, and this into that.”

.

Carson is triangulating. Very Clintonesque.

He's starting to get the hang of politics.

LOL,,,,

So pretty much he doesn't believe in science. he's a fundamentalist!!! Kind of like the muslim brotherhood or isis.

Republicans are transforming into a anti-science party.
Well, he says the Earth could have been here for "millions and millions" of years before God spent six days populating it with plants and animals and people.

Millions and millions. Not billions and billions. But hey, at least he's trying.

Then he says evolution started after those critical six days.

Some of the worst triangulation ever. But he's a beginner at this stuff, so its to be expected.

I guess Carson's has lost ShootSpeeder's vote. lol

Doesn't believe in science? Really? The man is most probably far more educated and accomplished than you will ever be.

About the only ones STUPID enough to criticize him and bash Christianity in response to his own personal belief are the completely ignorant, liberal hate-mongers on 'The View'. Their attack on him for daring not to believe what many Liberals like themselves believe was mind-numbing to watch...then they began bashing Christianity.

The Liberal 'War on Christianity' has not reached the level so far to the point where the biased main-stream media feels comfortable enough to abandon the predominant and accepted un-official faith of this country and to bash it and anyone who is a Christian. They know that the 'View' might be able to survive such cr@p but for them to do so still at this point would be tantamount to 'political/journalistic suicide'. But don't worry...it's coming.

Yes, the man's a respected neurosurgeon for children yet these Church's Fried Chicken fry cooks who struggled to finish third grade science feel qualified to criticize him. LOL!!

:wtf: You're a 'special' kind of stupid, aren't you?

Yeah, to a Liberal, a brain surgeon doesn't believe in Science (but everyone should take a Community Organizer's word for the fact that man-made carbon is causing the oceans to rise....ummm, when you have a glass filled to the rim with ice and water, when the ice melts does the glass overflow?)
:lmao:

And YES (to a LIBERAL), Ben Carson is EXACTLY like ISIS....except for the fact that
- He is a Christian
- He is tolerant
- He doesn't want to and never has cut anyone's head off
- He respects other's beliefs (unlike Liberals as well who believe, much like ISIS, there is no 'agreeing to disagree' anymore, you MUST believe as they do)
- He is not a TERRORIST

...there's more, but that's enough to drive home the point.
