Ah - the glory of socialism.

Voice of America:

Beijing is under an extreme smog warning Sunday, with pollution at hazardous levels for a third day, and people warned to stay indoors.

The municipal environment warning center issued an alert Saturday in China's capital, advising the elderly, children and those suffering respiratory or cardiovascular illness to avoid going out or doing strenuous exercise.

The center said Sunday that particulates small enough to deeply penetrate lungs were at nearly four times the level considered safe. The readings were called the worst on record.

China's official state-run Xinhua news agency predicted that the pollution could last another three days.

Meanwhile, fog covering vast areas of eastern and central China has closed numerous highways and delayed flights in several provinces.

International organizations say China's air quality is among the worst in the world because of massive coal consumption and car-choked city streets.

Sounds like there's a kink in this workers' paradise. We grumble about the EPA in this country, but the basic Clean Air Act made our big cities a lot more livable.

Been there. It's true. I came home sick from breathing all the junk in the air. Part of it is that they still burn a lot of coal there because they have vast reserves of coal and it is economical to do so. But it affects the rest of the world, when the only one who gets the finger pointed for pollution is the US.

So why are Obama and the Libs breaking our balls all the time.

Show a spine Obama and tell the Chinese to knock it the fuck off....

Oh that's right Obama needs to kiss their ass because he needs to borrow another couple of trillion
fucking dollars or this country grinds to a halt.

I once saw him throw live baby frogs into boiling water to prove some deranged point. It was so sad...

Do you ever eat lobster or crab?

We throw live lobsters in a pot of boiling water all the time....
I once saw a late term abortion on a PBS special years ago.
I still can't get those images out of my head...
And Democrats love that shit.

Stop crying over baby frogs.

Industrial cities in Shanxi Province are much dirtier than Beijing.

Well, when I lived in England they had the same problem, they began using processed coal to reduce the sulfur in the air and made smokeless zones. I guess the Chinese don't have time to control their emmisions. It's cheaper to let the people die than go crazy and control the poisons like Americans do. Then there's the fact that China has nearly deforested their country too.

The outrage over frogs getting boiled alive.
But they don't have a problem at all over terminating a baby's life.

On a personal level, they relate better to frogs than they do to actual human beings.

There are laws in China regulating emissions. They are just not always followed to the letter, particularly out in the hinterlands.

Ah, the glory of the global economy. Who cares if Chinese industry pollutes the air producing all that stuff we used to make in America? Their American partners are making one more penny's profit, so it's a good trade off....right?

So every item you own or ever have owned is made in the USA! Somehow I doubt that.

China would be the GOP's dream for america. Next to no environmental laws, workers in slave labor camps working for .35 cents an hour, no benefits, next to no safety standards,...it's a fascists utopia!
