I lived for almost 3 years in Vienna in a district occupied by the Russians after the war. While Vienna in 1978 was still a majority of the old historical buildings, a great deal had been done to keep them in good shape. Sadly, one could still see the results of Russian rape of anything they could take back home - 20+ years later. They even tore up all the railroad tracks in their sector to send back to Russia.

I could take pictures of slums in America and with no before and after capitalism, just capitalism. Most nations have slums and abandoned buildings and the US has its share.
