Im not saying he is or not. I don't know much at all about him. But people lie all the time. They shouldn't. But they do.

Yes, it is theoretically possible that he's spent the last 30 years lying to everyone, and in fact he's really a terrorist sleeper agent.

But the same could be said about you or me. Why do you believe Beck, but not him?
