Because Obama is anti-business, business owners are having to lay off people..

Then why aren't healthcare costs falling now? Why weren't they falling before Obamacare?
Because there's no "public option" that would've increased competition. That got "lobbied" out of the healthcare bill. Keep in mind, the healthcare lobby, is a very powerful special interest in Washington. It is a $2 trillion dollar a year industry. Industry officials had over 900 closed-door meetings at the White House before the vote. Not only did they get the "public option" removed from the bill, they got another 26 million customers added to billing in the form of the "mandate".

I withdrew my support for the healthcare bill once it was clear the "public option" would not be included and I am against the mandate.

Also you dummy!!! WHAT do YOU mean by "Public Option"????
You think that with MOST businesses that offer health packages BEING ABLE to CUT these programs because the PENALTY is FAR FAR LESS then what they are paying health insurance companies for employee PLANS!!! 30% right now of businesses are going to CUT employee programs BECAUSE of Obamacare!
AND YOU think THAT will drive prices DOWN?????

IDIOT... say the company drops health plan for 1,000 employees and tells employees "Use the Public Option"!
Employer who previously was paying $5,000 per employee NOW with penalty pay $2,000/employee!

IDIOT.... Who makes up the $3,000 difference from the $5,000 the employer was paying to the $2,000?
WHERE does that $3,000 come from???

OH yea right "cost efficiencies of having more people with health insurance!!!
WE AREN"T talking about that phony 50 million with out health insurance first.
WE are describing current employees who won't have health insurance! WHERE will that $3,000 come from????
You think the health insurance companies are going to use the "mechanics of capitolism".... as you ignorantly suggested????

FIRST ALL DUMMY IT IS CAPITALISM not CAPITOLISM!!!! NO WONDER people like you are so ignorant... you don't even know what you are talking about!
You think since I mis-spelled a word, that means I don't know what I'm talking about?

You're a fuckin' idiot!

Second: Here are the quotes exactly out of Obama's mouth!!!

"Full quote from Obama in 2003:
“I happen to be a proponent of a single payer universal health care program.”
SOURCE:...Barack Obama on single payer in 2003 | Physicians for a National Health Program -
SO IDIOT... If I wants a single payer THAT MEANS 1,300 health insurance companies go out of BUSINESS!
THAT MEANS HE IS ANTI-BUSINESS!
I'm sorry, I thought you were talking something about what President Obama said. Now that you've explained your point in more detail, my answer is as follows...

Those companies SHOULD GO OUT OF BUSINESS! They are ripping off this country and causing harm to the health and welfare of its citizens. Their prices are just obscene. Fuck them and fuck you!

"So, if somebody wants to build a coal plant, they can — it’s just that it will bankrupt them"
Obama: We’ll bankrupt any new coal plants « Hot Air

DID OBAMA SAY "It's just that it will bankrupt them"???? Why would ANY President want to bankrupt companies??? Unless he is ANTI-BUSINESS!
SEEMS pretty clear to me!
We need more alternative fuels and the sooner coal plants are laid to rest, the better.

"Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket. Even regardless of what I say about whether coal is good or bad. Because I’m capping greenhouse gases, coal power plants, you know, natural gas, you name it — whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was, uh, they would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that money on to consumers.
Obama: I’ll make energy prices “skyrocket” « Hot Air
See above, asshole.

THE IDIOT THINKS HE is being "smart"... "intelligent"... ETC...
HE's just a dumb union organizer! Never had to make a payroll and probably with this totally ignorant comments shows he LIKE YOU in all likelihood
have NO IDEA that employers for example PAY MORE in Social Security (6.2%) taxes and the same 1.45% for Medicare for employees!
AND YOU and that dumb f...k president WANT BUSINESSES to go bankrupt...
WELL YOU and that dumb...f...k... TELL ME!!!
Where if businesses go out of business will ALL of the SS and Medicare and unemployment taxes COME FROM?????
There's a lot more businesses out there than the pieces of shit you mentioned, now go to bed, it's past your bedtime.

It's simple capitAlism, asswipe!

If someone provides a service that is a 3rd of the price of the same service you provide, you are going to lose customers. If you want to keep your customers, you have to make your prices more competitive. It's a win-win situation for consumers.

If we had a "public option" in the healthcare bill, medical costs would come down as a natural result of the mechanics of capitolism. The more competition, the more competitive businesses must be; the more competitive businesses must be, the more competitive are their prices.

Then why aren't healthcare costs falling now? Why weren't they falling before Obamacare?

And here's proof that healthcare costs have been going up for quite awhile.
Now I am not a supporter of Obamacare, I just don't like the mandated part at all. But, when total partisan hacks like healthmyths posts his typical partisan bullshit, I just can't help myself.
131% increase in ten years for the cost of healthcare insurance and healthcare insurance mirrors the increased cost of healthcare and this was before Obamacare. The last two years the rise of the cost of healthcare insurance has slowed.

YOU IDIOT!!!
Tell me WHO pays the claims that come into a health insurance company?
ANSWER the Insurance company RIGHT???
EVER HEARD of the Medical Liability RATIO???? IDIOT???
YOU know what that is???
It is HOW MUCH of the premiums are paid out in CLAIMS IDiOT!!!!

What is the percentage of premiums PAID out in claims for the following major companies? 80%!!!
The real financial facts are insurance companies annually, every year pay out 80% to the providers
of the premiums they receive and this comes from their financial reports that if they lie they go to jail!

76.9% - Aetna
82.3% - Cigna
83.9% - Health Net
83.2% - Humana
78.6% - UnitedHealth Group

http://www.newamerica.net/blog/new-health-dialogue/2009/health-reform-medical-loss-ratio-or-just-medical-loss-15773

$2.55 Trillion Projections for 2010 from U.S. Census Bureau National Health Expenditures--Summary, and Projections
Type o Payer total in Billions % of Total
Private Insurance $ 879 34.4%
Medicare* 864 33.8
Medicaid* 321 12.5
Out of pocket 298 11.6
Other 193 7.5
Health Expenditures - The 2012 Statistical Abstract - U.S. Census Bureau

NOW IDiOT I know these are just too many facts for your simple brain..
BUT the insurance companies pay 80% of the premiums in CLAIMS DON'T you think there is a reason for the growth in premiums
if 80% of premiums go out in CLAIMS???
DUH YES!
WHY? $600 billion a year in "DEFENSIVE MEDICINE" meaning duplicate tests, referrals, ALL because physicians (90% in a survey of 1,200 said they feared being sued so they duplicated tests, etc!!!!!
WHO PAYS??? The insurance companies! WHY so they won't be sued!

The facts of health care are FEAR of lawsuits cost $600 billion more a year then necessary!

HEY SUBSTANTIATE YOUR HYPERBOLE idiot!!!
Give me sources for your wild idiocies...

To All My Valued Employees,

As most of you know our company, Westgate Resorts, has continued to succeed in spite of a very dismal economy. There is no question that the economy has changed for the worse and we have not seen any improvement over the past four years. In spite of all of the challenges we have faced, the good news is this: The economy doesn't currently pose a threat to your job. What does threaten your job however, is another 4 years of the same Presidential administration. Of course, as your employer, I can't tell you whom to vote for, and I certainly wouldn't interfere with your right to vote for whomever you choose. In fact, I encourage you to vote for whomever you think will serve your interests the best. [...]

Now, the economy is falling apart and people like me who made all the right decisions and invested in themselves are being forced to bail out all the people who didn't. The people that overspent their paychecks suddenly feel entitled to the same luxuries that I earned and sacrificed 42 years of my life for. Yes, business ownership has its benefits, but the price I've paid is steep and not without wounds. Unfortunately, the costs of running a business have gotten out of control, and let me tell you why: We are being taxed to death and the government thinks we don't pay enough. We pay state taxes, federal taxes, property taxes, sales and use taxes, payroll taxes, workers compensation taxes and unemployment taxes. I even have to hire an entire department to manage all these taxes. The question I have is this: Who is really stimulating the economy? Is it the Government that wants to take money from those who have earned it and give it to those who have not, or is it people like me who built a company out of his garage and directly employs over 7000 people and hosts over 3 million people per year with a great vacation?

Obviously, our present government believes that taking my money is the right economic stimulus for this country. The fact is, if I deducted 50% of your paycheck you'd quit and you wouldn't work here. I mean, why should you? Who wants to get rewarded only 50% of their hard work? Well, that's what happens to me. [...]

Business is at the heart of America and always has been. To restart it, you must stimulate business, not kill it. However, the power brokers in Washington believe redistributing wealth is the essential driver of the American economic engine. Nothing could be further from the truth and this is the type of change they want.

[[ Editors' Note: Black actress Stacey Dash defends Romney after facing racist attacks: ‘I chose him not by the color of his skin but the content of his character’ ]]

So where am I going with all this? It's quite simple. If any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, as our current President plans, I will have no choice but to reduce the size of this company. Rather than grow this company I will be forced to cut back. This means fewer jobs, less benefits and certainly less opportunity for everyone.

So, when you make your decision to vote, ask yourself, which candidate understands the economics of business ownership and who doesn't? Whose policies will endanger your job? Answer those questions and you should know who might be the one capable of protecting and saving your job. While the media wants to tell you to believe the "1 percenters" are bad, I'm telling you they are not. They create most of the jobs. If you lose your job, it won't be at the hands of the "1%"; it will be at the hands of a political hurricane that swept through this country.

You see, I can no longer support a system that penalizes the productive and gives to the unproductive. My motivation to work and to provide jobs will be destroyed, and with it, so will your opportunities. If that happens, you can find me in the Caribbean sitting on the beach, under a palm tree, retired, and with no employees to worry about.

Businesses are sitting on $6 trillion dollars in profits and regulations are no more than they were during the early to mid 90's, when we had 8 years of economic growth.

This "Obama is anti-business" rap, doesn't wash.

So you tell me that when Obama SAYS HE prefers "Single Payer" that doesn't mean
1,300 health insurance companies will STAY in business IF THERE IS ONLY ONE PAYER??

To me when he said that he meant he wanted 1,300 companies to go out of business!

Tell me if this is a Pro business statement...
Obama also said he wants companies to go bankrupt!!!
"if somebody wants to build coal utility plant it’s just that it will bankrupt them,![/I][/B][/COLOR]"
Why would ANY president want any business to go bankrupt?
Again where will the revenue come from that these companies pay in?

WHY in any good sense want a business to go bankrupt???
I mean wouldn't it make more sense to help companies NOT go bankrupt??
Bankruptcy means unemployment. Means NO profits driving employment!
Means NO tax revenue.

So what is there in that statement that DOES NOT show Obama being anti-business??

If you and Obama are such business savvy capitalists WHY then would he say these comments:

And he went on to say: “Under my plan....electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket."
Why would ANY president want electricity rates to skyrocket???

Obama said "I'd like higher gas prices.."
WHAT? A president WANTS YOU to pay HIGHER gas prices?
No administration, Republican or Democrat wants businesses to fail. If you believe that you've been watching too many political ads. The economy depends as much on business as it does on consumers.

So why shouldn't I believe Obama when he says I prefer 1,300 health insurance companies go out of business and replaced by a single payer ?

I shouldn't believe him when he tells businesses LIKE coal utilities that have captured 98% of the emissions they should capture all or go broke?

Or tell the 2,000 people on St. Croix Island refinery soon to be unemployed thanks to the EPA...

In January, Hovensa entered into a consent decree with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Justice Department in which the company agreed to invest $700 million on pollution controls after a series of chemical releases affected people living downwind from the refinery.
Hovensa also agreed to pay a $5.4 million penalty for violating the Clean Air Act.

With the additional modification costs and fines, it was no longer economical to operate the refinery and the decision was made to close it.
Losses were not limited to the refinery's operations, however, and the future held at least $700 million in environmental upgrades required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency under terms of a consent decree lodged in federal court about a year ago.

The reason being this. There is no public option to keep all the companies in check, so instead of the companies driving prices down, they are driving them up. Also to the very volgure op. Your facts are not factual. Please post the source your getting your jobs numbers from.

Obama--for the last 4-1/2 years has continually threatened small business people in this country with higher taxes--and when he's not threatening them--he insults them with: "If you own a business, you didn't build that, someone else made that happen."

So how do you expect small business owners are going to react to employees who are VOCAL Obama supporters? I am a 30 year small business owner myself--and I'll tell you right now if I had an employee that planned on voting to reelect Barack Obama after what he has said about me--I would be pretty pissed off to know I was paying that employee a weekly paycheck when he's voting against me.

Stop blaming Obama. It's time the American people take responsibility for putting Obama in the White House.

Ok here is. What I do not understand. Last month we had 144,000 new jobs created. So people say oh we are in dire straights..........if you remember the last 6 months of the bush years, we were losing 600,000 jobbs a month. Do you want to go back to policy the promotes job loss on a mass scale? Or do you want a slow but sure recovery?

The truth is we will continue with a slow recovery no matter who wins. If Romney wins, not much will change, but he'll assure us that he is doing a great job. If he gets his tax cuts, then the debt will almost certainly rise and eventually it will put a drag on the economy and we'll slip back into recession or worse. The good thing with Romney's plan is that if you are one of the 1%ers, you'll be getting a huge tax cut. So if you are in that 1%, you probably should vote from Romney.

Yea, I know that was all a big lie I just told. Obama hasn't raised taxes on anyone. In fact, to date, he's lowered taxes for a lot of people. But please keep telling us how he is going to raise taxes on everyone and how he is such a threat to everyone because of his Marxist beliefs.

Koch Industries, other CEOs warn employees of layoffs if Obama is reelected

Koch Industries, the Wichita, Kan.-based company run by the billionaire Koch brothers, sent a voter information packet to 45,000 employees of its Georgia Pacific subsidiary earlier this month.
In it was a letter, dated Oct. 1, from Koch Industries president Dave Robertson implicitly warning that "many of our more than 50,000 U.S. employees and contractors may suffer the consequences" of voting for President Obama and other Democrats in the 2012 elections, a list of conservative candidates the company's political action committee endorses and a pair of editorials: one, by David Koch, supporting Mitt Romney, and the other, by Charles Koch, condemning Obama.
Daily Kos: Can your Boss tell you who to vote for? ... Koch Brothers want to find out

Where oh where, is the FEC?

The CEO Who Built Himself America's Largest House Just Threatened to Fire His Employees if Obama's Elected

UPDATE: Shortly after we posted this letter, we found out, thanks to multiple readers, that it bore suspicious resemblances to a popular chain letter that was circulated just before the 2008 elections. Well, we just got off the phone with David Siegel, who told us the letter below is real, and that it was sent out to all of his employees yesterday. "I did use the letter that had circulated before as a guideline, but I changed it [to fit my circumstances]," he told us. "It speaks the truth and it gives [employees] something to think about when they go to the polls."
