Debris from the tsunami that hit Japan last year including a Japanese fishing boat still floating is beginning to wash ashore on the US west coast. Of course the nanny state says don't touch anything. Yeah right we'll leave that nuclear reactor alone.

Do you think it would be a wise decision to carry something potentially contaminated with radiation back to the house so the grandkids can see? Perhaps that "nanny state" thinking is there to prevent idiots from spreading radiation around.

The ship was washed away before the radiation problem

I have two hand held geiger counters in the basement.... so im good to go.

The meltdowns did not occur for days after the tsunami which washed all this debris out to sea.

There could actually be significant amounts of cash among the debris.

I seem to remember the tsunami hitting first and the reactor being voided a few days later. It seems all that "stuff" would wash out with the tsunami wave

What about the pods? With all the radiation leaked, there just has to be some mutant pods washing ashore that contain exact duplicates of ourselves. Have we learned nothing from our vast science fiction film archive?

Surely, Godzilla has been awakened.

The lefties didn't blame Bush for it? He must have turned in his weather-control machine when he left office I guess...
