This came my way a couple of years back and it’s back again with one wrinkle added; This time starting the jump with skis off a mountain slope. This way is way harder to get out beyond the sloping mountainside below than dropping off a cliff from an outcrop shelf.
This is amazing stuff, and an amazing exhibition of self control to fly so close to the stuff below, while on the way down.

I know the New River Gorge Bridge; been there but not on "bridge day." It's 876 feet above the water, and there's lots of dangerous ground clutter. I wouldn't make that jump for $10,000. Unlike jumping from a plane (which I wouldn't do either at my age), this is a very quick jump before you need to pull the cord, and there's probably not enough time for a back-up chute to work.
