I watched Napolitono on fox news this morning. Basically, the Obama Adm response is let BP do everything, while they "supervise".

It also took Barak Hussein 9 days to even realize that there was a problem.

Obama's To Do List During the first 8 Days

1. Demonize Arizona for doing the job the Federal government refuses to do

2. Shoot Hoops

3. Demonize Wall Street for "making too much money"

4. Reread "The Audacity of Hope"

5. Compare Tea Party to Tim McVeigh

Bull Shit. If you have an ounce of integrity I'd be very surprised. At least CrusadeFrank is stupid...hmmm, well, maybe I've given you too much credit.

Okay, prove me wrong, and show before nine 9 days where he stated that it was a serious problem?

There is no technology for dealing with this oil spill. BP, not the U.S. government, has the best that there is.

Right now the Federal government has mobilized the Coast Guard to stop the oil spreading as best they can, but the biggest part of the problem is how to stop a leak at the bottom of the ocean floor.

If we had enough Governemnt regulations in place, before this accident happened, it may have been prevented. But after 8 years of Republican rule and 2 years of Republican obstructionism, advancing government regulation is a bit of a task.

If you'd like to put on a scuba suit and go down and plug this leak up, we'd all be greatly thankful.

If you have any ideas on how this leak could be plugged up, we'd all certainly like to hear them.

But otherwise STFU!

Oil slick poses political peril for Obama - Washington Times

"BP is the responding party," said Mrs. Napolitano. "We are overseeing them. We're working very closely with all of the state and local partners."

I have a great idea, how about the Obama Admin, get off their butts, and respond too, instead of just "overseeing" BP?

Where in the Constitution does President Obama have the authority to clean up the mess of a private corportation?
You RW Fringers define hypocrisy.

Spoken like a true liberal/progressive. If you dissent from the left wing god shut the fuck up.

I don't have the knowlege or the technology to plug a leak, that is something that the federal government can assist in.

The only thing they are doing is "supervising" BP.

How about they do something useful in containing and cleaning up the disaster?

 The libs can find the constitutional authority for the feds to take over the entire health care system, but not to assist in an ecological and economic disaster.

Thanks for the laugh.

Nope...can't have the same expectations for a Democrat as we do for a Republican.

By the way......

Obama hates white people.

Oil Spills aren't a problem for most Black Folks. White people visit the beach so they are the ones this will effect.

So Obama hates white people.

I just figure the left can get away with this type of rationalization why can't we?

Seriously -

What exactly do you think that the President should do?

Contract BP to stop the leak?

Who kneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew ANYbody could out-do Bush on a fcukk up of this nature??? The irony is fcukking hysterical huh???!!!!!!!!!!!

Q. Why didn't Obama call in the US Army Corps (pronounced 'corpse) of Engineers?

A. He thought they were dead

Just think of all of the equipment that's in Afghanistan and Iraq that could have been put to use in the Gulf.

Obama refused to strengthen regulations so this is what happens. It's his fault. He should have known this would happen. The friggen idiot just opened up the coast of Virgina to drilling as well.

See how easy it is to make a case against a sitting President?

What a tool

You give Obama and Biden a HealthCare Proxy for your entire family but you can't find where the Federal government can respond to the biggest environmental disaster in history.

Obama's a one-termer and you should seriously think about starting a new country with him as your Fuhrer

The Federal Governement has already mobilized the Military to contain the spread of the oil.

It appears that you think that the U.S Governement is some God like organization that can do anything if the President just orders them to.

They are not.

The U.S. government does not have the technology to plug up this leak. BP does - or at least they have the best technology for this.

The U.S. government contracts out most high tech work - to companies like BP.

If you think that the U.S. governement should have the technology on hand to deal with this type of disaster, then you should wholeheartedly agree to raising taxes so that the U.S. government can afford to keep this level of technology on hand.

Or you migt agree that the technology for safe offshore drilling just doesn't exist - so we should stop all offshore drilling until the technology does exist.

The only political consequence of this catastrophe is that people are realizing the the environmentalist have been 100% correct.

Yes, Obama made a major mistake by agreeing to allow more offshore drilling - but that was only done as a compromise to the Republicans.

The only way Obama's gonna lose the next election is if he runs against someone who's far to the left of himself!

I wonder why they didn't say this about Katrina?

After all it's pretty much the same thing.

A disaster that nobody anticipated....except tree-hugger friends of Democrats.

If anything a case of criminal neglect could be made.
